About Ryan

Ryan Munro was born and raised in the St. Louis metropolitan area, graduating the University of Kansas in 1999 with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Architectural Studies.

With his particular interest in psychology, Mr. Munro is a tremendous asset to the Firm in reviewing psychological evaluations and assessing mental health issues that often arise in family law matters. He is sensitive to the treatment of children and thinks "out of the box" in custody matters. While he is an effective and zealous advocate for a parent, he never loses sight of the best interests of the children. His work in this area has been impressive and invaluable in dealing with the most complicated custody cases and in achieving good results for clients and children alike.

Mr. Munro returned to St. Louis and worked for 5 years in a family business as a concrete plant manager, overseeing approximately 15 teamster drivers as well as day to day operations.

Having experienced the responsibilities of business management, Mr. Munro is uniquely situated to understand and evaluate the complex business issues in the law. His mature and deliberate manner as a lawyer reflects the critical requirements of supervising a high powered business and dealing with people with a variety of needs and personalities. Mr. Munro's entry in the field of law allows him to make great use of his prior experience in assessing situations calmly and clearly and arriving at effective resolutions quickly and firmly.

Mr. Munro graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2008 and he now practices in the Firm's Family Law group handling cases involving division of property, spousal support, paternity, and child custody.

A client always knows that Mr. Munro will always be responsive to his needs, returning calls promptly and communicating with opposing counsel and guardians ad litem. He is thoughtful and prepared and anticipates issues before they arise. His work is marked by thoroughness and diligence.

Mr. Munro is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the St. Louis County Bar Association. He is a regular participant in continuing legal education programs, bar events and is considered one of the most committed young lawyers in the St. Louis area.

"The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements."
