About Sarah
Sarah Guthrie grew up in South Carolina and graduated from Spring Valley High School in 2003. She obtained her undergraduate degree magna cum laude in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 2007. She went on to work as a legal assistant and paralegal for small firms and received her paralegal certificate from Graduate School, USA in 2009. She then enrolled in the University of South Carolina School of Law and graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2013.
While working for law firms prior to and during law school, Ms. Guthrie gained valuable experience in various practice areas, including, but not limited to, personal injury, products liability, criminal defense, real estate litigation, contract law, and corporate law. Ms. Guthrie’s experience included assisting on cases in various magistrate’s courts and state circuit courts, as well as federal court.
As an associate with Burn Law Firm, LLC, Sarah Guthrie applies her extensive experience to the areas of criminal and civil litigation in Lexington, Columbia and throughout South Carolina.
