About Scott
Scott Denson, a founding member of the firm, was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama. He earned undergraduate degrees from Lafayette College and his Master of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati. Scott attended the Florida State University College of Law, where he served as notes editor and articles editor for the Florida State University Law Review.
Scott has been admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Alabama, and has represented clients pro hac vice in the State of Mississippi. He is a member of the Alabama Lawyers for Justice, the South Alabama Trial Lawyer's Association, and regularly participates in the Mobile County Volunteers Lawyers Program. For two years, Scott served as a member of the Alabama State Bar Quality of Life Committee.
Scott dedicates his practice to prosecuting claims on behalf of clients who otherwise might not be able to find representation. He is recognized as an authority in the field of landlord/tenant law, and provides continuing education to both lawyers and real estate professionals concerning the duties of landlord to the occupants of rental housing. He regularly takes cases involving wrongful death and serious personal injury in rental homes, apartment complexes, Section 8 housing, Public Housing Projects, and nursing homes throughout the state of Alabama. Over the past several years, he has also litigated and/or settled numerous auto accident, products liability, medical malpractice, commercial slip-and-fall, animal bites, and assault and battery cases.
