Mark was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wabash College in 2000 and from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2003. He has been admitted to the Indiana State, Northern Indiana and Southern Indiana Federal Districts since that time. Mark began his career serving both Marion and Cass Counties as a Felony Deputy Prosecutor from 2003 to 2007, completing thirty felony jury trials. He still selectively takes on criminal defense cases today. However, for the past 13 years, Mark has focused on civil litigation for Starr Austen & Miller, LLP and has tried many cases for plaintiffs and defendants. He has presented at legal seminars for other attorneys and insurance company in-house staff on construction law insurance coverage, personal injury and contractual dispute issues.

Louis F. Pignatelli currently practices law in several areas, focusing primarily on trial practice in cases concerning serious personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, and wrongful death. Soon after being sworn-in, Attorney Pignatelli began to practice with his father, then Mayor Louis J. Pignatelli. He maintained the family practice while simultaneously serving as the youngest State’s Attorney in the history of Whiteside County. He rededicated exclusively to private practice in the late-1970s. Over the years, his practice has focused on obtaining compensation for injured people and their families. He has selected a handful of cases to follow this biography for your consideration. In addition to obtaining justice for injured people, Attorney Pignatelli has extensive experience in finance and financial litigation in competitive market sectors. Pignatelli secured the financing for his first residential development project with the title to his late-model Datsun. To date, he continues development of residential properties — both single-family and multi-unit — as well as commercial and industrial real estate in northwestern Illinois. Pignatelli worked with the Chicago-based Gamel Broadcasting Group. Over time he acquired a minority stake and later purchased a controlling interest in the group’s five-tower, 1,000-watt Fox Valley-area station under the call letters WFXW, serving news, talk and nightly music to Geneva, St. Charles and Batavia. Pignatelli served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skolniks, a publicly-traded company on the NASDAQ. Then a director, Pignatelli stepped-up to captain the corporation — which produced the baked goods including the Olive Garden’s beloved breadsticks, as well as bagels and other bakery products — following the ousting of several members of management who were found to be complicit in corporate scandal. Under Pignatelli’s leadership, the national brand, franchise and wholesale divisions navigated toward an outcome in the best interests of its shareholders. Pignatelli serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Community State Bank of Illinois.

The Morlan family has lived and farmed in Cedar County Missouri since the mid 1800’s. Tad grew up in El Dorado Springs and graduated from there in 1983. Tad then attended Missouri State University and studied Economics prior to attending law school at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where he obtained his law degree. He began practicing law in 1992. Now Tad has almost 30 years under his belt practicing personal injury in Springfield Missouri helping thousands of people.

One of three McCalls at the law firm, Christopher has been practicing law since 1995. When the opportunity to work with his father and sister presented itself, Christopher pounced on it. He loves being back in Lake Charles, the city that he grew up in. Some of Christopher’s special areas of practice include wrongful death, personal injury, and offshore/maritime injuries in Louisiana. In 2008 Jon was selected as a 'rising star' by Super Lawyers. In November, 2009 Jon left Offutt Nord, PLLC to begin his own firm in Barboursville, West Virginia specializing in personal injury litigation. During his career Jon has successfully taken 36 cases to trial. Jon has successfully tried cases in West Virginia Magistrate Courts, Family Courts, Circuit Courts, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. Additionally, Jon has successfully tried cases in Kentucky District and Circuit Courts as well as Tennessee Family Court. In May, 2010 Jon joined his former law partner, Scott Andrews, and established Hoover Andrews in Barboursville. Jon represents injured persons in the areas of auto accidents, products liability, and premises and workplace liability accidents. Jon is licensed in both West Virginia and Kentucky and is noted for his aggressive oversight of cases. Jon is married to the former Stephanie Thomas, and they have two beautiful children, Brighton Pamela and Rhett Christopher.
