Mr. Goidel is a partner in the law firm of Goidel & Siegel, LLP, which he and Andrew Siegel co-founded in 1990. Prior to the founding of Goidel & Siegel, Mr. Goidel was associated with several prestigious international law firms. At Goidel & Siegel, he focuses on the prosecution of product liability and personal injury cases. He has tried cases to verdict in nearly every trial court in New York City and has argued appeals in the Appellate Divisions of both the First and Second Judicial Departments. Mr. Goidel graduated from Hamilton College in 1983. In 1986, he graduated from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a member of the Brooklyn Law Review. He has served as a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York Committee on Young Lawyers and the Committee on Eastern European Affairs. He has served as an arbitrator for the New York City Civil Court, Small Claims Court. Steven Gacovino received a bachelor of arts in political science in 1988 from the State University of Stony Brook before earning his degree in law from the Touro College Law Center in 1992. After graduating from law school, he became a founding partner of our firm. Today, Steven Gacovino leads our team of New York personal injury attorneys, providing our clients with the skilled, knowledgeable representation they need to obtain a favorable settlement or verdict. Steven Gacovino is admitted to practice law in the Federal District Courts of New York and Connecticut. His areas of practice include mass tort, personal injury, and wrongful death law.

Joseph P. DePaola joined Greenberg Law, P.C. in 2019 as counsel to the firm. Joe was promoted to Partner of the firm in 2023. Joe is a uniquely skilled litigator, as comfortable arguing facts to a jury as he is arguing a point of law to a panel of appellate judges. He’s successfully represented clients in bench trials to verdict, jury trials to verdict and arbitrations to decision. Joe has also represented clients in New York’s highest appellate court, the Court of Appeals, and the Appellate Divisions of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Martin J. McManus, a third generation attorney, has long been dedicated to the practice of personal injury, wrongful death, car accident, medical malpractice, personal injury protection and a range of other legal areas since 1987. As a trial lawyer for 23 years, specializing in civil and criminal matters, Martin offers years of experience and extensive knowledge of the law, as well as a deep dedication to his clients. Attorney Martin McManus is a 1987 graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law in Toledo, Ohio. He also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Notre Dame (ND) in 1982. He is the third generation of attorneys in his family practicing law. His grandfather and father were both respected lawyers in the community.

Christopher “Chip” Hickey has represented hundreds of clients with mesothelioma and other asbestos related diseases throughout Ohio and North Carolina. Chip has also represented victims of catastrophic injuries caused by defective products and negligent conduct.

Russell has over 38 years of multi-state legal experience with both a local and national client base. He currently serves as outside General Counsel for several clients who own large Commercial Real Estate shopping centers both locally and nationally. Primary practice areas include financial institution and bank regulatory and compliance, representation of national creditors within general creditor’s rights enforcement, complex multi-state litigation, general commercial defense, Insurance Law corporate law, small business startups and general representation, and personal injury.

Sandy Meizlish is the managing partner at Barkan Meizlish, LLP, with extensive experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability law. Throughout his career, Mr. Meizlish has worked diligently to represent individuals injured or wronged through the negligence of others. Mr. Meizlish is a life member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum signifying that he has won individual settlements in excess of $2 Million Dollars for his clients. Mr. Meizlish has been named to Who’s Who in the Law, as well as received the American Jurisprudence Award. Mr. Meizlish is a past editor of Bar Briefs, the publication of the Columbus Bar Association. He has been selected as a Top Attorney in Ohio by Cincinnati Magazine and the American Trial Lawyers Association has named Mr. Meizlish one of the top 100 trial attorneys in Ohio. Mr. Meizlish has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2013 Best Lawyers in America listing. Around the Columbus Metropolitan Area, Mr. Meizlish is heavily involved with the Leo Yassenoff Jewish Community Center (former board member), the Columbus Bar Foundation, and the William A. Sam G. Caras (samcaras@caraslaw.com) was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. After a youth marked by participation in sports, Sam attended Wright State University, from which he graduated cum laude. During his last two years of undergraduate education he worked as a legislative aid for the Honorable C. J. McLin, and as a laborer in several industrial plants. Sam enrolled in the University of Dayton Law School in 1977 and graduated in 1980. During law school he enjoyed the privilege to clerk for the Honorable George J. Gounaris of the Civil Division of the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court for three years, while working part-time for two years with the City of Dayton Prosecutor's Office. Following graduation from law school he entered into private practice as an associate in an insurance defense firm, focusing on civil litigation defense of motor vehicle accidents, products liability, insurance, and professional liability cases. For several years after becoming partner in the insurance defense firm his practice concentration increasingly developed in plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death. In 1990 he left the insurance defense practice and has since been practicing almost exclusively in the areas of medical and professional malpractice, wrongful death, serious personal injury, insurance litigation, with periodic referrals for business and contract litigation. Sam has practiced before all levels of Ohio courts, including successful arguments before the Ohio Supreme Court. He also has extensive experience in federal practice, particularly including practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, along with pro hac vice admissions in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama and U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
