Ms. Myers joined Pearson & Paris, P.C. on January 8, 2018. Ms. Myers received her Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University Law School. During her law school tenure, Ms. Myers served as Editor-in-Chief of the Valparaiso University Law Review and was one of the founding members and treasurer of the Asian American Pacific Islander Law Student Association. Ms. Myers also participated in the Juvenile and Family Law clinic where she served as Guardian Ad Litem in family related matters to help resolve disputes of parenting time and decision-making responsibility. Ms. Myers also appeared in the Porter County Juvenile Court as a public defender for individuals facing contempt charges for failure to pay child support. Ms. Myers was a recipient of the Hoeppner, Wagner & Evans Scholarship for outstanding commitment to the law school and was awarded the Scribes Award for demonstrating the highest levels of legal professionalism and excellence in legal writing. In May 2017, Ms. Myers was inducted into the National Order of Scribes. Ms. Myers is sympathetic to the emotional strain many families endure in the field of domestic relations. She uses her passion and empathy to advocate for her clients, while recognizing the unique dynamics of each family and her specific role she plays within those dynamics. During her law school career, Megan was heavily involved in the management of the student body and is a proven leader. Not only was she class president, she was also the student body president during her 2L and 3L years. Megan has had a career as a prosecuting attorney in Allen County and therefore has a complex understanding of the criminal world. Mr. Reid joined Parker, Pollard & Brown as an associate after receiving his law degree from the University of Richmond in 2008. David Hagan is an associate at Wade, Grimes, Friedman, Meinken & Leischner, PLLC, practicing both family law and criminal defense. As a family law attorney, Mr. Hagan handles all aspects of domestic relations cases, such as divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, settlement agreements, property rights, post-divorce disputes, and close relative and step-parent adoptions. He handles misdemeanor criminal defense, including traffic and DUI cases, and assists the partners with felony cases. Prior to joining Wade, Grimes, Friedman, Meinken & Leischner, PLLC, Mr. Hagan was a paralegal for a small family law firm for several years. There, he helped conduct legal research on mostly family law-related topics, prepared pleadings and assisted in trial preparation, litigated a post-divorce dispute, met with clients regarding their cases and more. Mr. Hagan received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. During his time there, he served as a student advisor in the George Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic, where he provided pro bono legal assistance to veterans and their families on issues such as civil contract disputes, veterans discharge upgrades, adoptions, consumer warranty concerns, and other matters. Mr. Hagan was born in Michigan and grew up in Northern Virginia. He played the cello for seven years in his youth. In his free time, he enjoys reading, working out, and socializing with friends.

Jon Starr has tried more 120 cases to jury verdict in Oklahoma. He maintains a civil litigation practice, with a focus on claims involving auto negligence, personal injury defense, business disputes, construction, employment practices, bad faith, medical malpractice, product liability, and professional negligence. Mr. Starr has made oral argument before the the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and also works as a mediator and arbitrator with Dispute Resolution Institute (DRC). He is an accomplished writer and speaker on insurance defense topics, and has served as president of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel.

Zack joined Hepworth and Associates in June of 2020 after concluding a judicial clerkship for judges David J. Williams and Thomas L. Kay of Utah’s 2nd District Court. Zack received his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University. While in law school, Zack was an ASU Law Student Ambassador, a volunteer for Court works (a Phoenix-area program that teaches moot court skills to middle school students), and Associate Management Editor for the Arizona State University Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Zack has experience in both criminal and civil litigation. He has seen every side of criminal law cases – for the state in the prosecutor’s offices of Maricopa County, Arizona, and Weber County, Utah; for defendants at the Maricopa County, Arizona Public Defender’s Office; and for the judiciary, working as a clerk for the Utah State Courts. Zack also has experience in many areas of civil litigation. Following law school, Zack worked for Clarke Law Firm in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he assisted in cases that included family law, property law, contract law, employment law, and estate planning issues. Additionally, in his time with the courts, he has been able to work on a wide range of matters big and small. Stephen comes to the firm with a background in law enforcement. He has extensive experience in labor relations, including contract negotiations, grievance arbitrations, and employee discipline. He is a graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law, cum laude. While attending law school, Stephen served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Francis X. Flaherty in the Rhode Island Supreme Court and was a Presidential Scholarship recipient, as well as a member of the Honors Program. He was also a member of the 2014 Kappa II class of Leadership Rhode Island. Stephen is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
