Not only was she class president, she was also the student body president during her 2L and 3L years. Megan has had a career as a prosecuting attorney in Allen County and therefore has a complex understanding of the criminal world. Her experience with prosecution will lend your case a perspective that others may not be able to provide. Her other experiences include family law, such as divorce, child support, and other issues; collections; contract formation and review; juvenile matters; and more.

Mr. Reid joined Parker, Pollard & Brown as an associate after receiving his law degree from the University of Richmond in 2008. His practice is concentrated primarily on commercial and residential real estate, civil litigation, and business law. Relevant experience Represents corporations and other business entities in the prosecution and defense of contract and business tort litigation. Represents landowners and commercial tenants in real estate related litigation. Represents owners and lenders in easement, title, mechanics lien and title insurance disputes and litigation. Represents lenders, purchasers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Represents landlords and tenants in negotiation and drafting of commercial and residential leases. Represents developers in the creation of condominiums, including conversions and mixed-use projects. Represents lenders and other businesses in connection with a variety of commercial law matters, including issues relating to Article 9 secured financing. Advises businesses with respect to entity formation, corporate authority issues, director and officer liability, and other corporate matters. Admitted in all Virginia state courts.

David Hagan is an associate at Wade, Grimes, Friedman, Meinken & Leischner, PLLC, practicing both family law and criminal defense. As a family law attorney, Mr. Hagan handles all aspects of domestic relations cases, such as divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, settlement agreements, property rights, post-divorce disputes, and close relative and step-parent adoptions. He handles misdemeanor criminal defense, including traffic and DUI cases, and assists the partners with felony cases. Prior to joining Wade, Grimes, Friedman, Meinken & Leischner, PLLC, Mr. Hagan was a paralegal for a small family law firm for several years. There, he helped conduct legal research on mostly family law-related topics, prepared pleadings and assisted in trial preparation, litigated a post-divorce dispute, met with clients regarding their cases and more. Mr. Hagan received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. During his time there, he served as a student advisor in the George Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic, where he provided pro bono legal assistance to veterans and their families on issues such as civil contract disputes, veterans discharge upgrades, adoptions, consumer warranty concerns, and other matters. Mr. Hagan was born in Michigan and grew up in Northern Virginia. He played the cello for seven years in his youth. In his free time, he enjoys reading, working out, and socializing with friends.

Jon Starr has tried more 120 cases to jury verdict in Oklahoma. He maintains a civil litigation practice, with a focus on claims involving auto negligence, personal injury defense, business disputes, construction, employment practices, bad faith, medical malpractice, product liability, and professional negligence. Mr. Starr has made oral argument before the the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and also works as a mediator and arbitrator with Dispute Resolution Institute (DRC). He is an accomplished writer and speaker on insurance defense topics, and has served as president of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel.

Zack joined Hepworth and Associates in June of 2020 after concluding a judicial clerkship for judges David J. Williams and Thomas L. Kay of Utah’s 2nd District Court. Zack received his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University. While in law school, Zack was an ASU Law Student Ambassador, a volunteer for Court works (a Phoenix-area program that teaches moot court skills to middle school students), and Associate Management Editor for the Arizona State University Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Zack has experience in both criminal and civil litigation. He has seen every side of criminal law cases – for the state in the prosecutor’s offices of Maricopa County, Arizona, and Weber County, Utah; for defendants at the Maricopa County, Arizona Public Defender’s Office; and for the judiciary, working as a clerk for the Utah State Courts. Zack also has experience in many areas of civil litigation. Following law school, Zack worked for Clarke Law Firm in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he assisted in cases that included family law, property law, contract law, employment law, and estate planning issues. Additionally, in his time with the courts, he has been able to work on a wide range of matters big and small. Whether you have a business law case, a family law matter, or any other type of civil litigation, Zack is always ready to take on a new challenge. When he’s not in the office, Zack is either spending time with his family, watching basketball, or teaching for the University of Utah, where he helps prospective law students as an LSAT prep instructor.

Stephen comes to the firm with a background in law enforcement. He has extensive experience in labor relations, including contract negotiations, grievance arbitrations, and employee discipline. He is a graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law, cum laude. While attending law school, Stephen served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Francis X. Flaherty in the Rhode Island Supreme Court and was a Presidential Scholarship recipient, as well as a member of the Honors Program. He was also a member of the 2014 Kappa II class of Leadership Rhode Island. Stephen is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

William R. Larkin, III ("Bill") and Joseph P. Farrell, III ("Joe") built their careers together at a mid-sized firm with a high volume litigation practice. Joe started at the firm in December 2001 and Bill followed shortly thereafter in April 2003. Both were promoted to Partner in 2008. Bill had the privilege of running the day-to-day operations of the firm as Managing Partner while Joe was the lead trial attorney and Manager of the arbitration and appeals departments. They represented large insurance companies, government agencies, and private clients in thousands of lawsuits over the course of 15+ years before leaving the firm to form Larkin Farrell, LLC.
