Mr. Matulewicz has won numerous honors, including national championships in high school, and the National Moot Court competition in law school. He has been asked to speak before churches, insurance groups and a host of others. He received his B.A. Magna Cum Laude from St. Anselm's College, and graduated with honors from Loyola University School of Law. Since January of 1977, Alexander F.X. Matulewicz has represented a wide range of clients....police, college presidents, computer specialists, the homeless, retirees, millionaires, the disabled and factory workers to name a few. Attorney Matulewicz has represented clients in a variety of cases (e.g. murder cases, civil service hearings, divorce court, Federal Court of Appeals and Court of Claims), in all forums and venues, including cases as far away as Maryland, Louisiana and Georgia. When he was 27, Mr. Matulewicz was representing attorneys in their 60's that were facing disbarment and loss of career before the Supreme Judicial Court. Since 2012, Mr. Matulewicz has concentrated on probate administration, wills and trusts, and estate planning. The office is geared, skilled and focused on this area, utilizing the knowledge gained from his 40 years experience.

A native of Wellesley, Massachusetts, R. Richard Croce was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1990 and The United States District Court for the District of Connecticut in 1991. Mr. Croce was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2006 and is also admitted to practice before the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Croce earned his B.A. from Allegheny College and his J.D. from The University of Dayton School of Law. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and The Middlesex County Bar Association and The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Renee M. Finch is a Partner in Messner Reeves’ Las Vegas Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Finch’s career began as a manager overseeing claims professionals at a major insurance company. While excelling in that position, Ms. Finch also graduated in the top 20% of her class from The William S. Boyd School of Law, then put her career experience to work in the Las Vegas litigation arena. Ms. Finch’s practice is devoted largely to defending corporations, insurers and their insureds, in high-exposure cases in which claimed medical expenses and other alleged damages total in the millions. To date, she has tried 15 such cases to verdict, obtaining in each of them either complete defense verdicts or verdicts lower than the plaintiffs’ lowest settlement demand. A seasoned attorney with a wide range of litigation experience, J.R. Stevenson works closely with his clients to develop the best strategies to address their legal concerns. His areas of expertise include commercial litigation, complex insurance coverage disputes, environmental and toxic tort litigation, property damage and first party damage, general liability insurance coverage, and maritime issues. J.R. has litigated a number of liability declaratory judgment cases through appeal. Before founding the firm in 2012, J.R. worked at leading multinational law firms Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP and Clyde & Co US LLP. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. J.R. graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for earning the highest grade in his Evidence and Trust & Estates courses. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration on international trade from Binghamton University. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Maritime Law Association of the United States.

Richard has been in private practice since 1968 and has tried numerous civil and criminal cases in his 40 plus year career. Although he no longer practices criminal law, he successfully defended two capital murder clients in back to back trials within the first year of passing the bar. Richard exclusively represents injured people, and has never represented insurance companies or corporations. He has obtained verdicts and settlements from $10 million on down.
