Beau was born and raised in Crestview, Florida. In 2006 he graduated from Northwest Florida State College with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2008, he graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. He attended Mississippi College School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2011. He began his legal career with the State Attorney's Office, First Judicial Circuit, in Milton, Florida in 2011, where he practiced until founding Beau Powell, P.A., Attorney at Law in 2014. His areas of practice include: criminal defense, trial litigation, family law, and personal injury. Matt Maerowitz grew up in Arizona and went to high school at Brophy. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from Boston College and later graduated from law school at the University of Arizona. Matt Maerowitz is an experienced trial attorney with a practice focused on DUI, criminal defense, and personal injury cases. Francis T. O’Brien, Jr. is the founder of O'Brien Law Boston, a criminal law specialty firm. Jacob Longman is currently the Managing Partner of Longman Jakuback, APLC. A botique litigation firm, Longman Jakuback specializes in complex and criminal litigation at the trial and appellate level in both state and federal court. Jacob spent time in both law enforcement and the military before attending law school. Before graduating from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, he was President of the Student Chapter of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense lawyers, worked as a student investigator for the East Baton Rouge Public Defender's Office and was a judicial intern at the 19th Judicial District Courthouse. He career has taken him across the state of Louisiana. Several of these have set legal precedents in the field of criminal law. These include State v. Crockett, State v. McQuarter, State v. DiGeralmo, and State v. Steele. He is currently the President-Elect of the Louisiana Associate of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

My Interest in criminal law is rooted in one thing -- my desire to help people. I grew up in Midland, Texas, where I received a bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of Texas. Later, I was awarded an academic scholarship to the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where I made the Dean's List and honor roll and received my law degree. After completing a comprehensive internship at the East Lansing, Michigan, firm of Bodwin & Fuzak, P.C., I worked as a civil contract attorney for Daffer McDaniel, LLP in Austin, Texas on a large class action lawsuit. Afterward, I served as a criminal and family law attorney at an established law firm in Georgetown, Texas. The latter experience found me defending clients on the wide spectrum of criminal law charges I address in my current independent practice. My success in this area included helping clients suffering from mental illness receive a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. The tremendous experience and knowledge I gained in daily negotiations with local prosecutors and courts combined with my ongoing desire to help people protect their liberties in the face of criminal charges now drive everything I do in my own law office. Attorney Kirk Obear came to Wisconsin in 1999 after serving in the U.S. Air Force for more than ten years. He graduated summa cum laude from Mount Olive College in 1990 with a degree in Psychology and received his law degree from the University of Buffalo School of Law in 1994. While serving in the Air Force, Attorney Obear worked as both a prosecutor and a defense lawyer. As the Chief of Military Justice, he was responsible for the prosecution of military members under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He also held an appointment as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, prosecuting civilians under Federal jurisdiction. In his next assignment as Area Defense Counsel, Attorney Obear defended clients throughout the country and around the world, earning him a national reputation for success. He was one of the few active-duty defense lawyers to receive the Meritorious Service Medal as a Captain.
