Melissa Sanford has built her career on helping clients in the areas of family law and criminal defense. By focusing primarily on these two areas in her practice, Ms. Sanford has been able to gain extensive experience in the family and criminal court systems, ensuring each of her clients gets the best possible representation for the legal issues that crop up unexpectedly in their lives. Attorney Chalcia Rainford is a native of Jamaica, West Indies, who has practiced law since 1994. Mrs. Rainford earned her J.D. from John Marshall Law School of Atlanta, Georgia. She also studied in London, England at the Lay Cox College and is a professional registered nurse. Her success does not stop there; Attorney Rainford owns Eccentral, Inc., which is a professional nursing employment agency. She is known for being very intellectual and detail oriented.

I've been practicing law since 1995. I'm licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia, the State of Georgia, the Military Courts of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the Supreme Court of the United States. I served over 20 Years as a United States Marine both as an enlisted member (Amphibious Assault Crewman) and officer (Military Attorney and Judge Advocate). As a Military Attorney I provided legal assistance to members of the military and their families in areas of Family Law, Estate Planning, and Consumer Protection. As a Military Criminal Defense Attorney I represented members of the military at Court Martial and Administrative Discharge Board proceedings facing charges ranging from Capital Murder and Rape to simple Unauthorized Absence.

Chimere Chisolm Trimble is an award-winning attorney and passionate leader in the Georgia legal community, known for her work throughout South Georgia and the Atlanta Metropolitan area. As founder of Chisolm Trimble & Associates, she has been providing legal representation to clients from her offices in Atlanta (Midtown), Douglasville, and Albany. Karla Walker is part of a team of progressive and aggressive attorneys in South Georgia at the law firm of Copeland, Haugabrook & Walker. Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut Karla received her B.A. in History at the prestigious, Ivey League, Yale University, and later obtained a Doctorate of Jurisprudence at Mercer University. Upon graduating, Karla moved to Valdosta, Georgia after attaining employment with the law firm Copeland and Haugabrook. Attorney Walker has been with the firm for 17 years; 13 of which as a partner. Personal injury, (including but not limited to car accidents, slip and falls, and other forms of negligence), workers compensation, family law (including divorce, custody, legitimations, and adoptions), misdemeanors, felonies, and criminal defense are the areas of focus of Attorney Walker. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Valdosta Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Association of Yale Alumni, and Habitat for Humanity. As an advocate for equality, one of the greatest challenges Attorney Walker encounters is overcoming the stereotype and stigmas of her profession. She is a speaker and coordinator for Hand Up Marketplace, Inc. a 501 (c) non-profit program designed to provide youth ages 16 and up with the skills needed to succeed socially, financially, occupationally, and educationally. Attorney Walker regularly speaks in many venues in the community. Karla Waker is a member of the Valdosta Lowndes Metropolitan Chapter of the National Council of Negro Woman and serves as Chair of the Entrepreneur and Community Development Committee. She also does a weekly radio segment on V96.7 Attorney Walker is currently building a program around a seminar she gives for first time probationers. During the seminar, she addresses employment, education, and other issues that young adults face while on probation. She enjoys being a positive impact on other people.

Dr. Whitmire has both a law degree (J.D.) and Chemical Engineering degrees (B.S., M.S. Ph.D.). Does this matter? Sometimes it can make all the difference.
