The Law Offices of Shaun Whitehead Esq LLC, also known as GET1LAW, are licensed to practice in Michigan and Ohio in the areas of family law, corporate, estate planning and personal injury. The law firm primarily focuses in Family/Domestic Court on divorce, custody, child support, alimony, parenting time, genetic testing and Probate Court issues such wills, estates, trust, guardianships and adoptions. Attorney Whitehead currently serves as Councilman for the City of Oak Park. Whitehead earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. Attorney Shaun earned his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University’s Law School where he was the research assistant to Professor Kevin C. McMunigal and gained additional exposure with the third revision of American Bar Association’s Prosecution and Defense Function Standards. Attorney Whitehead began his legal career in entertainment law (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame), focusing on licensing and copyright issues and moved quickly into providing consulting services to entities such as: Cisco, Deloitte and Black Box. Attorney Shaun also gained criminal and juvenile law experience as a Summer Law Clerk in 2015 with the Cuyahoga County Office of the Public Defender. A staunch community advocate, Attorney Whitehead has been involved with Meals on Wheels for more than 15 years and volunteers as a caddy for the U.S. Kids Golf Association. Attorney Shaun is also a Proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Rita has worked in many areas of the legal profession from matters as simple as residential real estate to as complex as immigration. Through it all, her passion for family law has been the driving force in her professional career. Rita now works exclusively in family law matters such as divorce, custody, domestic violence, and guardianship cases. ​ Rita uses her background in all areas of law, sociology, and psychology to provide a holistic approach to her client’s legal matters. She is very happy to amicably resolve any issue by crafting a legally binding agreement between family members in an effort to save her clients time, money, and sanity. Nevertheless, Rita is not shy about being a bulldog to fight for her client's best interests in court.

Kaitlin Simone DiMaggio is a graduate of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. She went to law school so she could represent a close family member after he was unjustly sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole. Her involvement in his case drives her passion to help others who are enmeshed in the legal system. During her time in law school, Kaitlin worked over 350 hours of pro bono service working on the post-conviction cases of men and women who experienced a manifest injustice or who claimed innocence. She also holds a Master of Counseling degree from Arizona State University, and maintains her license to practice therapy. Before earning her law degree, Kaitlin earned a master's degree in counseling and she practiced as a licensed therapist. She worked at a court-mandated counseling agency running group and individual therapy sessions for those convicted of domestic violence and drug-related offenses, later becoming the Clinical Supervisor of an offender treatment program and a Program Manager for a government contract. Kaitlin is an advocate for criminal justice reform and is passionate about helping clients who are enmeshed in the legal system. Kaitlin has experience working on criminal cases involving domestic violence, sex-related offenses, DUI’s, and more. Additionally, she has worked on numerous post-conviction cases and parole hearings. Simone is also a zealous advocate for clients in family court, and has worked on cases involving custody disputes, divorce, and child support. Kaitlin is admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Arizona. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice, the Criminal Justice Reform Team of the Arizona Faith Network, and the Healthy Families Arizona Advisory Board.

Suzanne Cichon is the founder and managing attorney of Athena Law PLLC. She is committed to providing quality legal services to her clients in the most cost efficient manner possible. She understands that whether it is divorce, child custody, co-parent adoption, decree modification or an enforcement issue, her clients are trusting her with all they hold most dear — their assets, their homes, and their children. Athena Law PLLC was founded in 2020, with a goal of being a modern law firm that had a fresh approach to legal services. Ms. Cichon has previously worked in various different industries, including construction, sports, child welfare and the non-profit sector. Her experience in these different areas provide a broad foundation and interdisciplinary understanding of the many facets of family law litigation and unique insight into the complexity of family law cases. ​ Ms. Cichon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University, and an MBA and Masters of Sports Business from The University of Central Florida. Cooley Law School and then pursued an LLM in Homeland and National Security Law from the same law school, where she was Managing Editor of the WMU Cooley Homeland and National Security Law Review. Attorney Cichon is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator. Ms. Cichon, or Suzie Mac as she is affectionately known, is a native of Glasgow, Scotland, who naturalized as a US citizen in 2018, she is a Wife and a Step-mom, and enjoys tutoring kids in civics. In addition to practicing law, she is formerly the lead singer of a band, an avid golfer, and is highly involved in her local community.

Katherine Garcia is a practicing lawyer in the state of Missouri handing Family law matters.

Attorney Charles Needle has been a practicing lawyer since 1963. In 2018, he joined Needle Cuda as “Of Counsel”. Attorney Needle was a founder of the distinguished Connecticut Law firm of Zeldes, Needle & Cooper and has been a well-known force throughout the State of Connecticut for more than five decades in the areas of Commercial and Real Estate Law. Attorney Needle graduated from Yale School of Law with an L.L.B. in 1963 and from Harvard College with a B.A., Cum Laude, in 1959. He also holds a M.A.T. from Wesleyan University. Attorney Needle is a former President of the Harvard Club of Southern Connecticut, has been on its Board of Directors and has served as its Schools Committee Chairman for many years, and is Secretary of his Yale Law School Class. Attorney Needle, who at one time was a candidate for the State Senate of Connecticut and has served on numerous boards of committees in the commercial law area. At Needle Cuda, Attorney Needle devotes a substantial amount of his time to evaluating marital estates, developing a roadmap to settlement of cases — particularly those with complex business valuations, elaborate trusts, and extensive real estate holdings). He generally advises the firm on courses of action to pursue to provide clients with sensitive and quality representation during the divorce and post-divorce process.

Linda was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon but grew up in Austin, Texas. She moved to Houston this year to focus on her career in family law. Linda knew at a very young age she wanted to be an advocate for others. Even though she loves to argue she also knows being an attorney is so much more than “fighting in court or with others.” The law challenges you to think outside the box, become an imaginative and creative thinker and to approach every case in a new and innovative way. Human and children’s rights and having unlimited access to mental health resources and services are causes very close to Linda’s heart. She is very passionate about helping others, which she displays to her clients each day. Her compassion for all those around her shines through and has helped make her the thoughtful attorney she is today. Linda is an avid baker and “chef.” She also enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and family and has recently taken an interest gardening. Linda speaks two languages; English and French and is in the process of perfecting a third language, Spanish.
