MR. BROCK A. DAWSON Attorney at Law Graduated from Hanover College in 2008 where I played basketball, worked several jobs, found a good wife, and majored in Sociology and Business. Upon graduation from the Salmon P. Chase School of Law, I worked at a small firm in Delphi, Indiana where I gained much experience with Real Estate, Municipal Law, Family, and Criminal Law, as well as Contracts and Business Law. After two years at the Delphi firm, I have returned to Southern Indiana with my own office space in Downtown Jeffersonville. Since opening my Jeffersonville office I have been privileged to represent the Town of Sellersburg Board of Zoning Appeals and Planning Commission, small business owners, property, and real estate owners, along with several family law and criminal clients. I look forward to providing a comprehensive and efficient solution to your legal matter.

David R. Cardamone, Esq. focuses his legal practice on family law, real estate, and estate planning, administration and litigation. Dave’s approach to each case is to first learn his client’s needs and goals before seeking to craft an efficient, cost-effective strategy for obtaining a desirable outcome. He approaches each case with the mindset that by seeking win/win, creative solutions expensive litigation can be avoided, while understanding that he must prepare each file on behalf of his client as if the case will proceed to trial. Because each matter is unique, Dave’s approach to each case is unique. He is not just your attorney/mediator, and you are not just his client; rather, he is your partner in navigating through one of the most stressful times of your life. I received my Juris Doctor and Master of Social Work degrees from Loyola University Chicago with a certificate in child law and a concentration in non-profit program management and development. There, I also received a public interest recognition award and a leadership and service award. Before forming Hunsinger Law Group, LLC, I worked with multiple disenfranchised populations in various parts of the world. For example, I worked with refugees in southern Mexico at the United Nations, conducted field research about child domestic servitude in Tanzania, and assisted with representing high-risk youth in South Africa at the University of Pretoria's Child Law Centre. In fact, a case wherein I drafted a brief about triple jeopardy for students, received a favorable opinion from the Constitutional Court of South Africa (USA's Supreme Court equivalent). In the United States, I also gained valuable experience at Loyola University's Civitas ChildLaw Center and Northwestern's Bluhm Legal Clinic's Child and Family Justice Center as a student attorney appointed by the court to represent children in custody disputes and protection proceedings. Within that capacity, I conducted home visits investigating the child's safety within the environment. I also met with incarcerated youth and adult clients, writing reports for the legal team about the clients' well-being and institutional adjustment. In addition, I represented juveniles, parolee candidates, and people with disabilities in hearings. My past non-profit experiences include helping one non-profit program increase revenue by 25% in 6-months, drafting mission statements, creating and implementing a mental health screening process for a volunteer program, writing a training component for behavioral health practitioners, specifically a curriculum about military sexual assault, organizing summits that connect service providers to families who lost loved ones, analyzing legislation pertaining to a non-profit's interests and writing fact sheets and briefs to inform staff.

John Landwehr joined CVDL in 1984 after serving as an Assistant Attorney General under John D. Ashcroft for three years. He practices in the areas of estate planning, business formation, personal injury, real estate and commercial litigation. He also represents professionals in licensing matters. He enjoys solving problems so that his clients can be successful. John’s “hobby” is local politics. After serving seven years on the City Council in Jefferson City, John was elected Mayor in 2003 and re-elected in 2007 for a second term that ended in April 2011. He has stayed active with local issues by serving as President of Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri, and the Diocesan Planned Giving Committee. John received his B.A. (1974) and M.A. (1975) in Philosophy from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1981.

Attorney Charles Needle has been a practicing lawyer since 1963. In 2018, he joined Needle Cuda as “Of Counsel”. Attorney Needle was a founder of the distinguished Connecticut Law firm of Zeldes, Needle & Cooper and has been a well-known force throughout the State of Connecticut for more than five decades in the areas of Commercial and Real Estate Law. Attorney Needle graduated from Yale School of Law with an L.L.B. in 1963 and from Harvard College with a B.A., Cum Laude, in 1959. He also holds a M.A.T. from Wesleyan University. Attorney Needle is a former President of the Harvard Club of Southern Connecticut, has been on its Board of Directors and has served as its Schools Committee Chairman for many years, and is Secretary of his Yale Law School Class. Attorney Needle, who at one time was a candidate for the State Senate of Connecticut and has served on numerous boards of committees in the commercial law area. At Needle Cuda, Attorney Needle devotes a substantial amount of his time to evaluating marital estates, developing a roadmap to settlement of cases — particularly those with complex business valuations, elaborate trusts, and extensive real estate holdings). He generally advises the firm on courses of action to pursue to provide clients with sensitive and quality representation during the divorce and post-divorce process.

Jonathan A. Alderman is managing partner at the Anderson, Walker & Reichert, LLP, in Macon, Georgia. Estate planning, estate administration, will and trust drafting, contract and prenuptial agreement drafting, adoption, incorporation, business guidance, and charitable organization representation are all within Mr. Alderman's scope of practice. He has also handled cases involving commercial/contract law, real estate, insurance defense, and personal injury. Born in Evansville, Indiana, Jonathan spent his formative years in Cochran, Georgia, where his father served as president of Middle Georgia College and his grandfather, Lucian A. Whipple, practiced law for 75 years before retiring at age 97. In 1981, he graduated with an associate's degree from Middle Georgia College, and in 1983, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Georgia with highest honors and membership in Phi Beta Kappa. In 1986, he graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia with honors, and he started working with Anderson, Walker & Reichert in 1986. Mr. Alderman married a Georgia educator; Amy Holland, formerly of Dexter, GA who spent the past four decades instructing students in Jones, Twiggs, Ben Hill, Walton, Baldwin, Bibb and Clarke counties. His daughter Kim works as a nurse practitioner in Columbus, Georgia.

A. Antonio Tomas is a Board Certified Tax Lawyer, Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Tomas's practice focuses on two main areas: Tax Law and Criminal Law. Mr. Tomas has successfully represented clients against the Internal Revenue Service at the field and appeals level, as well as before the United States Tax Court. He has also advised and counseled clients on various issues, including trust and estate planning, corporate structuring and general tax planning. Mr. Tomas has extensive experience at the state and federal level litigating all phases of a criminal case. He has defended clients charged with various white-collar crimes, as well as other crimes such as grant theft, child molestation and murder. Mr. Tomas graduated with honors from the University of Miami School of Law in 2003. During law school, he interned with the Miami-Dade state attorney's office and was an editor for the Inter-American Law Review. He went on to earn an L.L.M. degree (Masters of Law) in Taxation from the University of Miami in 2006. Prior to law school, he majored in Accounting and earned a Master's Degree in Taxation from Florida International University. He has been a C.P.A. (Certified Public Accountant) in the state of Florida since 2002.

A native of Cleveland , John C. Cox has been practicing law in his hometown since 1999. John began work as an associate for his late father and cousin at that time, and became a Member in 2007 before becoming the firm’sManaging Member in 2011. In his practice, John has successfully served individuals in the areas of family law, personal injury, criminal defense, real estate, general litigation, sports law, and wills and estates. During this time, John has been fortunate enough to represent both large corporations and individuals, and is proud of the referrals of clients that he has received from both attorneys and clients alike. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, and is licensed to practice before all state courts in Mississippi, all federal courts in Mississippi, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. John has served on the Board of Directors for the North Mississippi Rural Legal Services and on the Mississippi Bar’s Centennial Committee. He has been a member of both the American Bar Association and the Sports Lawyers Association, and has been an instructor in Commercial Law at the DSU School of Business for the last nine years.
