Dr. De Angel is a professional engineer with more than 20 years of design experience and intellectual property consulting. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and is the inventor/co-inventor of 24 U.S. patents and is the author of numerous published articles. Dr. De Angel’s work has been paramount in leading chip design and development; multimedia technology; wireless technology; memory; parallel processing; power management; embedded systems/DPS and much more for major electronic firms throughout the United States. He has consulted as a subject matter expert in high-profile litigation cases and in preparation of documents as it pertains to intellectual property matters in his field. Dr. De Angel is the CEO/founder of Invention Matters LLC, a consulting firm that assists law firms and engineering companies with intellectual property matters. Widely recognized for his work involving asset valuation, claim chart development, prior art research and patent infringement analysis, he also works as a subject matter expert for technology firms advising on emerging technologies, patent filings and intellectual property licensing. Dr. De Angel is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Ronnie was born and raised in New York. He has always had a passion for the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Throughout high school, college, and law school he made many trips out west to spend time on the ski slopes. During that time he also discovered a love for business and the law. He attended Cornell University for their excellent business program, and received his Bachelor's of Science in Business Management and Marketing in 1999. While attending Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law he was able to spend a summer at the Central European University where he concentrated his studies on alternative dispute resolution techniques including arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. He received his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in alternative dispute resolution and intellectual property in 2003. With a law degree in hand, Ronnie moved to Colorado to be nearer to the mountains he loves. He was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2003. Since then, Ronnie has focused his legal career to assist clients in the areas of intellectual property (i.e., copyrights, trademarks, and patents), business, real estate, personal injury and probate law. When Ronnie is not working, he is happily enjoying all the wonderful outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer: skiing, mountain biking, tennis, white water rafting, and four-wheeling.

Thomas Howard is an experienced trial lawyer that handles intellectual property litigation nationwide, including copyright, trademark, trade secret and patent litigation, as well as complex civil litigation, including breach of contract, interference with contract, breach of fiduciary duty, conspiracy, fraud and fraudulent transfer of assets. Attorney Howard frequently deals with combined elements of intellectual property and commercial litigation in the cases that he handles, and is very experienced at dealing with highly complex litigation. In addition to representing clients involved in litigation, attorney Howard frequently negotiates and drafts intellectual property-related agreements, including license agreements, nondisclosure agreements and assignment agreements.
