Attorney W. Chris Castro is a solo practitioner and the founder of the Castro Law Firm, LLC located in Greenville, South Carolina. His practice primarily focuses on the areas of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, and Veterans Disability Law. Mr. Castro also practices Appellate Court work and has argued appeals at the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Mr. Castro can assist prospective clients in most upstate South Carolina counties to include Greenville County, Pickens County, Spartanburg County, and Anderson County. Mr. Castro graduated from Clemson University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After practicing public accounting in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Castro returned to Clemson University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Professional Accountancy in 1990. In 1992 Chris became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina. Chris practiced public accounting for the firms of Ernst & Young, and KPMG Peat Marwick, before going on to work in private industry for several years. In 2003 Chris attended law school at the University of Dayton, in Dayton, Ohio where he graduated with honors, Cum Laude, in 2006. While in law school Chris worked in the Law Clinic where he represented indigent clients in the Montgomery County criminal courts. During his tenure at the University of Dayton School of Law Chris earned the CALI award for academic excellence in both the Professional Responsibility (Ethics) course and the Student Law Clinic course. Chris enlisted in the South Carolina Army National Guard in 1988 and went on to attend and graduate from the Palmetto Military Academy Officer Candidate School. He was subsequently commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the South Carolina Army National Guard. Chris currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the North Carolina Army National Guard. During his twenty-eight years in the military Chris has served three active duty deployments with the United States Army. Two of these deployments were to the combat zones of Kuwait and Afghanistan. Chris was most recently deployed from 2015-2016 to Kosovo, a former province of the Republic of Yugoslavia. Chris continues to serve today as a Lieutenant Colonel in the North Carolina National Guard. After law school Chris practiced law in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for several years. He served as a contract public defender for two years representing clients in the Georgetown County Court of General Sessions. While living in Myrtle Beach Chris practiced law in Horry and Georgetown Counties in the areas of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, and Veterans Disability Law.

Ms. Sullivan is a licensed, practicing attorney who has been practicing for nearly 20 years 14 of which she has been in private practice. Her practice areas include Immigration Law, Business, Real Estate, and various general practice areas. Prior to private practice, she worked in city and state government mostly on issues of diversity and civil rights. ​Ms. Sullivan grew up in North Minneapolis, served in the United States Army and upon receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, joined the Minnesota National Guard. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management (BSB), Hamline University School of Law (JD) and the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Management (MBA). ​Practicing law is a career; however, Ms. Sullivan has been called by God to serve His people. She served for several years as Congregational Care Pastor at her church. She has a passion for empowerment through education and leadership. She is also the founder and CEO of HER Story, Inc. which is an organization that seeks to provide a forum for women to share their personal stories in an effort to heal, empower and restore one another. HER Story, Inc. provides an opportunity for women to support one another in various aspects of life including financial, emotional, educational and spiritual. Through HER Story, Inc. Ms. Sullivan hosts a Facebook group that inspires women to think, to pray, to make change and to grow through the use of daily posts. In addition, Ms. Sullivan hosts and annual retreat that allows space to just be still! Ms. Sullivan has finished her first book “Activate Your Purpose: A Guide to Spiritual Goal Setting” which was released October 2018. This is a self-help publication that encourages the reader to take their spiritual growth seriously, to set goals, to place and to be intentional. ​Ms. Sullivan is a dynamic public speaker, trainer and small group facilitator. She is passionate about the personal advancement of women, empowerment and transformational change. She has presented as a keynote speaker at colleges, churches, community events and other forums. She has provided small group training to church leadership, facilitated courses in leadership, vision casting and goals setting. The goal of every presentation, speech, training and facilitation is provide a mechanism for change, for growth, for inspiration and for empowerment. The projected outcome is to give hope, to encourage, to spark a flame in the individual that will encourage them to assess where they are in life, what they want from life, and what has to change in order to get it. Target organizations and clients are colleges and universities, businesses, churches, non profit organizations and any organization that values the people that it serves or employs. Ms. Sullivan also works with individuals and small groups through personal coaching and training

Attorney Robert N. Launie graduated from Boston College High School in 1974 and Boston College in 1978. After working in-house for a large union masonry company in many different capacities for four years, he decided he would follow his dream of being a litigator and attend law school. Attorney Launie entered New England School of Law, in the evening program while still working his day job for the union masonry company, graduating in 1986 with his entering class. While at New England School of Law, he interned as a Rule 303 prosecutor in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office handling numerous prosecutions. Attorney Launie was always drawn to trial work and started his own practice doing court-appointed criminal defense work in various district courts, in Middlesex, Norfolk, and Bristol counties. In the early '90’s, Attorney Launie was hired to defend individuals accused of serious crimes and was charged with assembling defense teams for their representation as well as actively participating in the defense of many high-profile cases. Over a 30-year career, Attorney Launie has appeared in both District and Superior Courts, as well as the Federal Courts throughout New England. In 1997, Attorney Launie began working with Attorney Paul V. Marino. After a few years of practicing together, Attorney Launie and Attorney Marino formed Launie & Marino, P.A., in 1999. Together they have expanded their practice to the areas of business litigation, business transactions, family law, as well as counseling and strategic planning for small businesses. Attorney Launie has successfully completed a nationally approved and accredited intensive mediation program, receiving his certificate from the highly respected MWI mediation facility, allowing him to work as both a mediator and conciliator. Attorney Launie has been successful in using his extensive experience and valuable knowledge of litigation aspects in helping to bring litigants to a successful end result in the areas of divorce and business disputes, hopefully showing them how to avoid the costly expense of full litigation. In the Family and Probate Court, Attorney Launie has extensive experience working on divorces that include complicated and sensitive issues like child custody, alimony, and the division of assets. Using his mediation skills, he has been successful in bringing parties together to find equitable and agreeable solutions before trial.

Robert is a lifetime Lake County resident, born in Libertyville, Illinois, and raised in the neighboring Village of Gurnee. Robert attended Warren Township High School from 2001-05, where he distinguished himself in academics and athletics graduating among the highest in his class and receiving All-Conference football honors. He conducted his undergraduate studies at Illinois State University as a “University Scholarship” recipient, where, in 2009, he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Studies. Robert was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois on November 1, 2012. He attended law school at the Northern Illinois University College of Law from 2009-12, graduating Cum Laude in May of 2012. In November of 2012, after a brief bought working for major corporations, Robert opened Tomei Law to assist those in financial distress–specifically, representing consumer rights through foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, auto fraud, and debt collection harassment. In the fall of 2018, Robert, along with three other fine attorneys, Timothy Johnston, Alan Lenczycki, and Michael Goldberg, founded the law firm Johnston Tomei Lenczycki & Goldberg, LLC (JTLG, LLC). JTLG is a full-service law firm and in addition to an office in Gurnee shared with Tomei Law, P.C., JTLG has an office conveniently located in the heart of downtown Libertyville. Having hailed from a family with Lake County roots, it has always been an aspiration of Robert’s to practice law in the community of his upbringing. The inner drive to further that end, coupled with the desire to assist those in distress, led him to pursue a legal career in the Consumer Rights arena where he has successfully taken on consumer foes that include some of the largest banks, debt collectors, and automobile dealerships in the land and as the owner of Tomei Law, P.C. and partner of JTLG, he plans to continue that fight for justice in Consumer Rights well into the future.

Alexander Laufer joined the firm in 1994. His practice is concentrated in civil litigation and real estate transactions, providing services in the areas of personal injury law, medical malpractice, construction law and employment law. Mr. Laufer grew up in Montreal, Canada but also lived and attended school in Jerusalem and Johannesburg, South Africa. He speaks four languages, English, French, Hungarian and Hebrew. Mr. Laufer graduated (cum laude) in 1972 from Loyola College and with High Honors from the University of Florida School of Law in 1976. Mr. Laufer has been an adjunct professor at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida and more recently at the Marymount University School of Business. He is a member of both the Virginia and Florida bars and is a Commissioner in Chancery in Fairfax County. Mr. Laufer has over 35 years of experience in complex litigation in both state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court and has handled thousands of residential and commercial real estate transactions. In recent years Mr. Laufer has litigated numerous cases involving noncompliance by residential builders with the federal Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act. In addition, Mr. Laufer has become a member of the Vaccine Injury Program Bar and the Federal Court of Claims Bar Association and is assisting families with members injured by vaccines, in obtaining compensation pursuant to the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, a federal program whichimmunizes (pun intended) pharmaceutical companies from suit, but substitutes a fund as an alternative. This is a relatively obscure and poorly understood program which, however, represents the only real recourse for those suffering injury from vaccines listed on the Vaccine Injury Table.

Pete is the principal and founder of Praxidice. After interning for the Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court, Pete worked in the litigation department of a large national law firm before relocating to Aspen and opening his own office. Pete has been named as a Colorado Super Lawyer (no more than five percent of all lawyers in Colorado are selected) in civil litigation. Darryl A. Goldberg is an aggressive criminal defense lawyer who represents those accused of the most serious criminal offenses in both federal and state courts. Based in Chicago, he regularly travels to other state and federal district and appellate courts to represent his clients, often in high profile cases. In the course of his criminal defense practice, his clients have included professional athletes, celebrities, doctors, lawyers, accountants, and law enforcement officers. His relentless efforts as a trial lawyer have resulted in jury verdicts acquitting his clients of everything from first-degree murder to large scale drug conspiracy charges. He chairs many committees for the American and Chicago Bar Associations, including the Criminal Law and Criminal Trial Evidence Committees.

My practice is in a medium-sized Oregon town but my firm handles cases all over the state of Oregon regarding various types of litigation, in both Federal and State courts. We also frequently associate with out-of-state law firms. We know all of the ins and outs of litigating in this state and our firm has been a fixture in Southern Oregon for over 50 years and is well known throughout the state. We also handle appeals in all courts. I also do various types of transactional work, including estates and estate planning. Peter Menges received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1997. He also received a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1997, where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Menges spent his first five years of practice as a Trial Attorney with the Denver Office of The Office of the Colorado Public Defender. Mr. Menges opened The Law Office of Peter D. Menges, P.C. in January of 2003 and has been exclusively in private practice ever since. Mr. Menges has extensive trial experience. Mr. Menges has personally handled over a hundred trials. He has tried cases in Federal District Court, Colorado State District Court in numerous jurisdictions, County Court cases in numerous jurisdictions, Municipal Court matters in numerous jurisdictions, and Administrative Hearings in a number of forums. Mr. Menges has also handled Arbitrations and Mediations in civil cases. In the Federal Criminal Court context, Mr. Menges has successfully defended clients in many complex prosecutions for “white collar” cases, such as mortgage fraud, bank fraud, and computer crimes, as well as other complex cases such as large-scale drug conspiracies. In the State Court criminal context, Mr. Menges has handled cases and done jury trials for almost every type of charge ranging all the way from homicide cases to traffic offenses. In the civil context, he has handled a very wide variety of cases including general commercial disputes, personal injury cases, property disputes, contract disputes, mechanics liens issues, slip and fall cases, wage disputes, torts and civil rights. Mr. Menges has also done appellate work in courts ranging all the way up to the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Menges has served on the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the United States District Court in Denver since 2003. He has lectured to hundreds of Colorado criminal defense attorneys on criminal defense law and procedure. He does pro bono work for those in need, and in 2004 was awarded the Colorado Lawyers’ Committee’s Community Contribution Award for his work fighting to secure the release of a formerly mentally ill patient who had been indefinitely committed to the Colorado Mental Health Institute after a “not guilty by reason of insanity” commitment.
