Johnson has been a practicing trial attorney responsible for hundreds of wrongful death cases around the United States and the world since he graduated from law school in 1992. A native of Georgia, Mr. Johnson attended Heritage High School in Conyers where he was the school’s Star Student, a Board of Education scholar, and starting power forward for a state final 4 basketball team.

Albert J. Dib is a native Detroiter, and a 1980 graduate of Wayne State University Law School. He has taught Medical Malpractice, Litigation Skills, Pretrial Advocacy, and Health Law at both Wayne State University Law School and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he has been Adjunct Professor of Law. He is past-president of the Wayne State University Law School Alumni Association, and currently a member of the WSU Law School’s Board of Visitors. He authored the ANNUAL SURVEY OF MICHIGAN LAW, “Medical Malpractice,” 2005 – 2006 in The Wayne Law Review, and “Ethical Conduct and Effective Lawyering, Plaintiff’s Perspective,” presented at the 26th Annual Law Seminar, Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Mr. Dib focuses his practice in medical and professional negligence, including the highly specialized field of catastrophically injured children and Birth Trauma/Obstetrical Malpractice Litigation. He also serves as a special medical malpractice mediator. In addition, Mr. Dib has also taught at Central Michigan University (Legal Aspects of Health Service Organizations) and has been an invited lecturer at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (Deposition Conduct and Objections) and the Michigan Association for Justice (Malpractice Tort Reform). Mr. Dib served on the State Bar of Michigan Grievance Committee and the District I Character and Fitness Committee. He has been an instructor for the American Association for Justice and Michigan Association for Justice at the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law trial advocacy workshop symposium and a moot court judge at Wayne State University Law School (Arthur Neef Competition); University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law (State of Michigan and Gallagher Competitions); and Michigan State University College of Law. Mr. Dib’s current and past professional associations include: State Bar of Michigan (Negligence and Latin Sections); American Association for Justice (Past Member); Michigan Association for Justice (Sustaining Member); American Bar Association (Past Member); Detroit Bar Association (Past Member); Oakland County Bar Association; Macomb County Bar Association; Arab-American Bar Association; Detroit Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Dib has also been selected for inclusion by his peers in "The Best Lawyers in America" and as one of the "Top Lawyers in Metro Detroit" by Business for plaintiff medical malpractice.

Consistent with the concentration of the firm, Mr. Guttman continues to focus his law practice in the areas of real estate assessments, property tax incentives and tax exemptions. He has extensive experience with representing a variety of property owners including multi-unit residential, commercial and industrial properties, as well as downtown Chicago office buildings. Mr. Guttman has considerable experience with litigation including acting as associate counsel before the Circuit Court of Cook County on a number of cases that challenged the constitutionality of the assessment methodology applied by taxing officials. His trial experience includes one of the first tax objection cases to be heard in the Circuit Court under the amended 1995 Revenue Act, which abolished the antiquated constructive fraud standard. Mr. Guttman co-authored two chapters, “Tax Objection Complaints” in the book, “Real Estate Taxation” and “Real Estate Tax Considerations” in the book “Residential Real Estate Transactions” for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education. He also co-authored the article “Five Things Every Attorney Should Know About Appealing Their Client’s Real Estate Taxes” appearing in the January, 2004 edition of the “CBA Record.” He was the former Chairman of the main committee, Legislative Liaison, and Chairman of the Assessment and Appeals Sub-committee of the Chicago Bar Association’s Real Estate Taxation Committee. He currently acts as Treasurer of the Illinois Property Tax Lawyer’s Association – an advocacy and lobbying group established to inform, educate and promote tax policies and legislative efforts affecting tax payers throughout the State of Illinois. Mr. Guttman lectured before the Chicago Bar Association’s continuing legal education seminar entitled, “Real Estate Taxation: An Overview for the Non-Specialist” in 2005 and acted as Special Assistant State’s Attorney on behalf of Maria Pappas, Cook County Treasurer, as Trustee of the Indemnity Fund in the defense of a claim against the Indemnity Fund. He also served on the Cook County Treasurer, Maria Pappas’ Joint Committee for the automation of the Illinois Transfer Tax Form.

David M. Carlson, an esteemed attorney with a notable track record, currently practices personal injury and criminal defense law. He has been duly admitted to the Illinois bar since 2001 and is also accredited to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern Districts of Illinois and Indiana since 2002 and 2003, respectively. His legal career is distinguished by his comprehensive understanding and application of the law, drawn from his extensive educational background and professional experiences. David completed his law degree at Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2001, where he was honored as the class speaker at his graduation. He furthered his education with a specialized program in 2021 through the Judicial Education Program at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia School of Law. This program enhanced his knowledge in a broad range of topics, including corporate governance, economics, and the responsibilities of corporate entities towards stakeholders. Before commencing his law studies, David earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona in 1993. Throughout his college years, he was an active member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and worked various jobs, from delivering packages for United Parcel Service to construction work, to finance his education. Alongside practicing law, David served in the judiciary from 2013 to 2024. He began as an Associate Judge in the 12th Judicial Circuit, Will County, Illinois, where he handled an array of cases spanning family law to civil and criminal matters. Following this role, he was promoted to Circuit Judge, presiding over the felony division, which is the second largest in the state. Under his leadership, his team was responsible for managing a robust caseload and integrating new technological systems into the court’s operations. He was commended for his diligence and commitment to justice and retention in a 2020 general election with a significant majority vote affirmed his position. Today, David is not only a member of the Illinois State Bar Association but also retains his connections with the Illinois Judges Association, reflecting his ongoing commitment to his professional community. His former role as both Associate Judge and Circuit Judge illustrates his depth of experience and leadership abilities, particularly in managing complex legal challenges and advancing judiciary processes. In Jenny Hubach’s 26 years of legal experience, she has represented thousands of criminal defendants in cases from Capital Murder through trucker traffic tickets. After receiving her Juris Doctor Degree from McGeorge School of Law, she became a member of the Nevada State Bar in 1989. In Jenny’s early career, she was a Deputy District Attorney in Washoe County, Nevada representing the state in criminal cases. She left the DA’s Office and began representing clients in personal injury cases before going into private practice and representing criminal defendants until present. Born in 1953, Timothy W. Nelson was raised on a farm near Redwood Falls, Minnesota. He attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in physical education and health in 1975. He also started on the 1974 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion football team. Following college, Tim taught physical education and health in a small South Dakota town before returning to Minnesota where he was Assistant Principal at New London-Spicer High School for five years. While at New London-Spicer, he coached football, wrestling, and track, and obtained a master’s degree from St. Cloud State University in 1981. He received his law degree from the University of South Dakota in 1984, where he was a sterling honor graduate. Tim was admitted to the Minnesota bar in 1984 and the South Dakota bar in 1985. His first job as an attorney was with the firm of Gislason, Dosland, Hunter & Milecki in New Ulm. There, he not only represented personal injury victims, and also gained experience in the areas of insurance defense, criminal defense and the general practice of law. In 1986, Tim moved to St. Cloud to work for three years as an associate with Donohue, Rajkowski, Hansmeier, Grunke and Jovanovich. While continuing to gain experience in the field of personal injury, he also did criminal prosecution for the cities of Waite Park, St. Joseph and St. Stephen, and legal work for their corporate client, the Monsanto Chemical Company. In 1989, Tim joined a solo-practitioner, Geoff Gempeler, and helped him build his firm into a successful personal injury practice. In 1991, Tim and Geoff tried a defective products claim against a swimming pool manufacturer, obtaining a $983,000 verdict for a woman injured while diving into a pool. The verdict was believed to be one of the largest in Sherburne County history at the time. In 1992, Tim earned his certification by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a “Civil Trial Specialist”. This honor is reserved only for those attorneys who have been able to meet the rigorous requirements of certification, including demonstrated knowledge and substantial experience as a civil trial lawyer. In 1993, Tim became a partner in Nelson Hanson Personal Injury Attorneys and in 1995, the firm became known as NELSON PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEYS. Since then, he has committed his practice to helping victims obtain fair compensation for their injures. In October of 2016, Tim was designated Senior Certified Specialist in Civil Trial Law by the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyer’s Association, the Minnesota Trial Lawyer’s Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is also a former member of the Board of Governors of the Minnesota Trial Lawyer’s Association. He has taught continuing legal education classes to other attorneys and is an adjunct professor of Trial Practice at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
