He received his Juris Doctor in 1993 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Since then, he has handled personal injury cases, which include auto accidents, medical malpractice, and products liability. He has also worked on hundreds of social security and workers' compensation cases from initial claim filing to the conclusion. In 2014, Kevin was voted Attorney of the Year by the VOCALS program with the Pulaski County Bar Association.
