Additionally, she served as a Law clerk for Tamara Felton, P.A. and as a judicial intern for the Sixth Judicial Circuit before she became an Assistant Public Defender. While working in that capacity she earned the coveted, "We Are the Hope," award and "Best Advocate," at the state wide training session. Attorney Bridgette Michelle further honed her skills by working for a prominent law firm in the Tampa Bay Area. There, she was able to work on several high profile cases, many of which made national news. Stephen Bernhardt has been an attorney since he was 25 years old. Now, nearly a decade later, Bernhardt has extensive trial experience in both criminal and civil law. He began his legal career as a prosecutor, first handling misdemeanor offenses such as DUI, Battery, Possession of Controlled Substance, Violation of Injunction and many others. Bernhardt was quickly moved to a felony division and become the State Attorney’s Office’s representative for the county’s Drug Court Program. In this role, Bernhardt learned many techniques to help individuals overcome addictions as well as the differences between the many rehabilitation establishments throughout Florida. Prior to leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Bernhardt was the lead prosecutor in his division. Bernhardt conducted several jury trials that ended in convictions and sentences of more than thirty years, including a mandatory life in prison sentence. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Bernhardt began practicing civil law for one of the largest creditors’ rights firms in the United States. Bernhardt quickly became the lead litigating attorney for the firm’s Florida office and handled countless civil hearings and trials before leaving to start Bernhardt Law, PLLC. Katelynn Gibbons is the eldest daughter of partner, E. Lynn Gibbons. In elementary school, Katie routinely reminded her Mom of the annual, "Take Your Daughters To Work Day". Some of her fondest childhood memories are of traveling to courthouses across the state at Lynn’s side through the years. Witnessing her mother's passion for justice and compassion for other people firsthand at a young age has had a lasting effect on her. She first started working at Jorgensen Gibbons, P.A. over the summer in middle school when she wasn't playing basketball. Katie graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic High School in 2012 and she earned a B.A. degree, Magna Cum Laude, in psychology from the University of South Florida in 2014. Between college and law school, she worked as the workers’ compensation paralegal at the firm. Since day one, she has treated the firm's clients as if they were family. In the Fall of 2015, she followed in her Mom's footsteps and started law school at Stetson University College of Law - a few blocks away from the firm. The proximity allowed her to continue working part-time at JG while she was in law school. She graduated a semester early and earned her J.D. from Stetson in December of 2017. Today, Katie works as an Associate Attorney for Jorgensen Gibbons, P.A., handling personal injury, workers' compensation, and social security disability cases. In her free time she enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling to watch her baby brother, Dillan, play football for the Florida State Seminoles.

Grady R. Jorgensen is Sharon Jorgensen's oldest son. He attended St. Petersburg Catholic High School where he played football and basketball and helped lead the basketball team to the state tournament three consecutive years. He graduated in 2006 and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in 2010 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida A&M College of Law. Throughout high school, college, and law school Grady worked as a legal assistant with the firm. Additionally, while attending law school Grady worked as a law clerk for Kass Shuler law firm working in the bankruptcy and foreclosure department. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar, he has zealously represented the rights of our injured clients. Grady is dedicated to our clients in all practice areas and uses his experience and expertise to provide effective representation to clients through Personal Injury litigation, Social Security Disability hearings, and at the Office of the Judge of Compensation Claims in Workers' Compensation cases. Daniel Hartpence was born and raised in Fayetteville, Georgia. As the son of a chiropractor and teacher, he was instilled with the drive and motivation necessary to succeed and excel. He went to Starr's Mill High School, then on to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. At Eckerd, Daniel played baseball and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Classic History.
