Sharon Weikel has been practicing law over 25 years and has been a Colorado attorney for 18 years.  Ms. Weikel was previously associated with the law firm of Nelson and Nelson, in Los Angeles, California where she handled commercial litigation matters.  Ms. Weikel has also practiced in the areas of Insurance Defense, Municipal Law, Estates, Commercial Law and Real Estate while practicing in New Jersey and Colorado .  Since 1997, her main area of practice is construction defect litigation and commercial law.

 

Her busy litigation practice involves numerous and various types of issues including: construction contract disputes and defects in products and workmanship, real estate issues, business formation agreements, and mechanic liens. Her past clients include Colorado-based general contractors and sub-contractors, excavators, finish graders, framers, siding/trim, and HVAC.  Ms. Weikel's legal experience includes providing legal services to other types of companies including sheet metal fabricators, government service and municipal organizations, religious organizations, and she also served as in-house counsel for a publicly traded medical device company.
