Christopher C. Cara joined Pond Lehocky in September of 2012. Chris attended Middlebury College in Vermont where he made the Dean’s List and graduated with a B.A. in English and with Honors in Environmental Studies. He received his J.D. from Villanova University in 2012. Following his undergraduate graduation, Chris worked at Isles in Trenton, NJ, a nonprofit community development organization. During his time at Villanova, Chris was a three-year recipient of the Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship, member of the Pro Bono Society, and treasurer of the Environmental and Energy Law Society. Additionally, Chris worked as a law clerk for the following organizations: Exelon Corporation, the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Regional Counsel for Region 3 in Philadelphia, and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office in Trenton, NJ. During law school, Chris interned with the Honorable Judge Linda Carpenter in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Chris’s interest in Workers’ Compensation law sprung from his enrollment in a Workers’ Compensation course at Villanova taught by Workers’ Compensation Judge Todd Seelig, Mr. Cara earned one of the highest grades in the class. Chris now devotes his practice to representing injured workers.

My Journey... I first thought of pursuing a career as an attorney when I was taking a course in the inequalities of our judicial system during my undergrad work at Penn State. By the time I finished that course, I had made up my mind to attend law school and become an attorney. Once I graduated law school and passed the Bar Exam, the first area of law I practiced was a Pro-Bono case involving child custody. Today I still practice Family Law as well as Real Estate and Estate Planning, Criminal, Business, Probate and Contracts. My Focus... I love these areas of law because I am a people person and all of these areas of practice bring me face to face with real people. Helping people through the most difficult time in there life during a divorce or helping people embark on a wonderful moment in their life by helping them buy their first home, either way I am here to help and enjoy what I do. I know it sound cliche, but I truly enjoy helping people...that is what it is all about. Helping real people with real problems and guiding them through with as little stress as possible. My Mission... I offer my clients personal attention, customer service and caring and compassionate legal assistance. I pride myself in always calling my clients back when they call me. My mission is to give each and every client their due importance and their fair day in court if needed. I promise that you will be heard.

Amy is a graduate of Drexel University, holding dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and International Area Studies. Following graduation from college, she earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law. Since law school she has practiced in various areas of civil litigation including real estate, commercial, personal injury, and bankruptcy. Her current practice area involves representing consumers in Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Pennsylvania Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act, Truth in Lending, Lemon Law, breach of warranty, and consumer fraud cases, as well as representing consumers in debt defense cases and foreclosures. She has been interviewed on various talk shows and news programs on consumer issues. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Tennessee, Wyoming, California, Florida, Texas and Arizona. In addition she is admitted to practice before the following U.S. District Courts: District Courts of New Jersey; Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania; Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee; District of Colorado; Eastern, Southern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas; Southern, Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California; Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas; Northern District of Ohio; Central and Northern Districts of Illinois; Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan; District Court of Maryland; Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida; District of Columbia; District of Arizona; District of Wyoming; and the Southern District of Indiana. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Amy is also very involved in her community and serves on the Boards of the Wissahickon School District and Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.
