Mr. Stephen William Mooney, Attorney

Stephen Mooney is a founding partner of the firm. He practices in the areas of Tax and Tax Controversies, Closely Held Businesses, Intellectual Property, Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, and Bankruptcy. A citizen of both Ireland and the US, Mr. Mooney is a member of the Massachusetts and New York Bars. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association and serves on the Membership Committee of the Boston Estate Planning Council.

Mr. Mooney received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Fordham University School of Law, New York. He holds a Masters of Law in Taxation (LL.M.) from the Boston University School of Law, Boston.

Prior to opening his practice, Mr. Mooney advised technology and publishing companies and successfully negotiated licensing agreements with most of the Fortune 500. Mr. Mooney has presented throughout the US and Europe.

Mr. Mooney has written and consulted extensively on developing profitable business models around digital technologies, including co-authoring a leading book on, digital rights management, called Digital Rights Management: Business and Technology, published by John Wiley & Sons, New York, New York.
