About Steve

Steve Sanderfer is an associate and handles personal injury cases. He has a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Steve was licensed as an attorney in Michigan in 1990 and moved to Texas in 1995. In the Federal courts, Steve is licensed in the Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas. He is fluent in Spanish.

Military Career

Steve served six years in the Judge Advocate Generala's Corps of the United States Army. Steve left the Army at the rank of Captain. He is currently a Major in the Texas State Guard where he serves as the Staff Judge Advocate for the Texas Medical Rangers of the Texas State Guard.

Politics and Community Service

Steve served three terms as a city councilman in Lancaster, Texas. He is currently the vice-chairman for the City of Dallas Civil Service Board. Steve attends St. Cecilia Catholic Church where he serves as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and an officer in the parish's Knights of Columbus council. Steve is also a published poet and songwriter. Stevea's past activities include serving on the Board of Directors for the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce.

Nominated Best Young Military Attorney of the Year- 1993. Voted a Best Elected Official in the Best Southwest. The Best Southwest includes the five cities South of Dallas, Texas: Lancaster, De Soto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill and Midlothian, Texas- 2002
