A member of the Massachusetts Bar for more than 30 years, Attorney Steven Rosenberg concentrates his practice counseling and representing small and medium-sized businesses as well as individuals in Contract and Business Litigation matters.  Steve’s vast experience extends from the initial determination of the form of organization that will best suit the client’s needs to the actual formation of the LLC, Corporation, or business entity to the establishment and satisfaction of all the legal requirements necessary to effectively maintain the structure of the business entity.

Over the course of his many years in private practice at both large and small firms, Steven Rosenberg has reviewed and drafted scores of employment contracts, severance agreements, partnership agreements, and a myriad of other types of business contracts.  Steve has also prepared of all paperwork and documentation necessary for the purchase and sale of ongoing business entities, utilizing the services of a wide variety of professionals such as accountants, financial planners, and insurance brokers, to ensure that his clients leverage their business and obtain the best possible financial outcomes.

An experienced trial attorney, Steve has been actively involved in virtually every type of business litigation in both State and Federal Court, as well as before agencies such as  FINRA and the MCAD.  His experience includes successfully representing both employers and individuals in employment litigation cases involving discrimination claims, inter-business disputes, contract disputes, and business and intellectual property cases.  

Attorney Rosenberg also has extensive experience representing men and women in the Probate & Family Courts of Massachusetts for more than 30 years, on matters involving separation and divorce, child custody and parenting issues, child and spousal support, as well as modifications, contempts, paternity disputes and, will contests.  Steve has not only settled countless complicated issues and large asset divorce and estate cases but has also successfully taken these cases to trial as needed.

Steven graduated from the University of Delaware with Honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and graduated from New England School of Law with Honors, and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Contract Law.  He has been admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Courts since 1983.

• 2001-Patsos v. First Albany
  The ruling, from the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, established that for the first time in Massachusetts a Financial Adviser owed the individual investor a Fiduciary Duty to put the individual customer into investments suitable to or for that individual.
