About Suleyken

Suleyken Walker joined the firm with a diverse professional background and is thrilled to have found a home at Meehan, Boyle, Black and Bogdanow, where she can apply her varied skills to represent our clients both as a trial advocate and an appellate attorney. Ms. Walker has represented individuals in a variety of cases, including civil rights violations, defective pharmaceutical and other product claims, and cases involving injuries sustained during recreational activities.

Immediately prior to joining Meehan, Boyle, Black and Bogdanow, Ms. Walker worked as an associate at the law firm of Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak and Cohen where she concentrated her practice in the areas of contract disputes and product liability litigation. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable James F. McHugh of the Massachusetts Appeals Court (2002-2004), and during law school she clerked for the Honorable Reginald C. Lindsay of the Federal District Court, District of Massachusetts. Before entering law school, Ms. Walker spent several years in the Massachusetts state legislature, first as a Legislative Aide to State Representative Stephen Kulik and later as Legislative Director to State Senator Susan Tucker. Ms. Walker also served for two years as the Executive Director for the Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators.

Ms. Walker is an enthusiastic proponent of participating in bar association activities, as well as involvement with civic life generally. In 2008, she was appointed to serve on the Massachusetts Bar Association's Litigation Section Council, and the Boston Bar Association's Litigation Section steering committee and as co-chair of that Section's public policy committee. In 2007, she was appointed to serve on the Boston Bar Association's task force on the right to counsel in civil cases, and was selected to serve as a participant in the BBA's year-long Public Interest Leadership Program. Ms. Walker also serves on the Boston Bar Association's legislative advisory board, and is a member of the editorial board of the Massachusetts Law Review.
