About Susan
Taylor Law was created with one goal in mind: provide top-notch business and health law services at a lower price so that legal expenses can fit within the healthcare provider’s budget. As a former General Counsel and hospital CEO for over 16 years, I understand the extensive costs involved with operating a healthcare facility. Legal services are expensive and healthcare costs continue to rise. I can help with balancing the expense of your legal needs against your budgetary constraints. Throughout the course of my career, I have maintained a dedicated focus on health law and the business intricacies that health facilities deal with. My experience and work has ranged from corporate compliance to licensing, claims handling and operational logistics; I've literally experienced it all. I received my law degree and certificate in dispute resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2002 and I am licensed to practice law in the State of California and the State of Nevada. I received a certificate in Healthcare Executive Administration from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management in 2011. I've practiced both on the plaintiff and defense side of medical malpractice and have also served as General Counsel for a healthcare system. I am currently an adjunct professor for the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for both the California Hospital Association and the Hospital Association of Southern California. I am also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). I am passionate about the work that I do and I look forward to providing you with tremendous legal expertise but at a price that works for you.
