Peter Haber started Haber Law Firm after several years as a legal executive at Popcornopolis, a gourmet popcorn brand sold at groceries and stadiums nationwide. In this role, Peter served as the company’s sole in-house legal advisor as it related to all functions of the company’s operations, including dispute resolution, compliance, and employment law, to name a few. With his help and guidance, the company relocated its entire corporate and manufacturing operation, developed a new factory and warehouse, and was successfully acquired by private equity.

I am admitted to the State Bars of both California and Illinois. I graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1981, and practiced law in my home town of Chicago for 6 years until moving to Southern California. (I am now voluntarily on "inactive" status in Illinois since my practice is solely in California). I have been providing professional and personalized legal services to the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley and Ventura County communities since 1987. More than anything, I am especially proud of the client relationships that I have established during my 25+ years of practice. Mr. Chodos is a business lawyer and litigator who has practiced as a sole practitioner for thirty-three years in Los Angeles.
