About Taylor
Taylor Braithwaite is a civil litigator providing both plaintiff and defense representation throughout South Carolina. He is a former active duty Judge Advocate of the United States Marine Corps with over 100 cases as a criminal prosecutor or defense attorney, nearly 30 of which involved contested trials, and a recipient of both the Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medal and Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal for highly successful trial and disposition records in both prosecution and defense work. Taylor left active duty in 2014 to join his father's private practice in Aiken, SC, and transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve where he currently serves as a Civil Affairs Officer. Taylor is the junior member of a three attorney firm with nearly 50 years of combined litigation experience in both plaintiff and defense civil litigation. He is a 2007 graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, with a B.A. (Cum Laude) in English, and received his Juris Doctorate as a Woodruff Scholar and 2010 graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University.
