About Thomas
Thomas L. Blackburn is an Indianapolis attorney who has been litigating criminal and civil cases for over 24 years. He has worked in both State and Federal and is quite familiar with the local courts, judges and their local rules in the central Indiana area. Attorney Blackburn has acted as lead counsel in hundreds of trials and has the legal knowledge and effective advocacy sufficient to thoroughly represent his client's interests.
Thomas L. Blackburn graduated from Indiana University in 1980 and from the Indiana University School of Law in 1984, at which time he was admitted to the bar in both State and Federal Courts in the State of Indiana. He has lectured frequently on trial advocacy and evidence law in Indiana.
Mr. Blackburn worked at the Indianapolis law firm of Cohen & Malad LLP as lead criminal counsel for over 20 years. He is a member of the State and Local bar associations and has been a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Indiana.
