Thomas K. Riley was born and raised in Fulton, Missouri and graduated from Westminster College (B.A., Cum Laude 1993). Riley attended law school at Washington and Lee University, where he was inducted into the honorary society, the Order of the Coif, and the Washington Lee Law Review, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Before entering private practice, Riley served as law clerk for the Hon. Ann K. Covington on the Missouri Supreme Court.

Riley practices primarily in areas of civil litigation, real estate, business, and estate planning. He represents numerous government and private clients throughout the state including the City of Fulton, The Callaway Bank, Ovid Bell Press, Backer Potato Chip Company, Boyd & Boyd, the Missouri Sheriff's Association, the Missouri Assisted Living Association, and the Missouri Hotel and Motel Association, as well as hundreds of other businesses and individual. In addition to transactional work ranging from drafting legislation, to complex business and real estate agreements, to trusts, Riley also has successfully litigated hundreds of lawsuits including more than a dozen where he has won a verdict or settlement of $100,000 or more including, a $325,000 settlement, two $700,000 settlements, and a wrongful death judgment of $4,580,000.*

Riley has served as President of the Callaway County Chamber of Commerce; President of the Board of Directors of the Fulton Area Development Corporation; President of The Callaway Bank Board of Advisors; and a Member of the Board of Directors for the University Extension Council, the YMCA, the Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society, and Backer Potato Chip Company.
