About Thomas
Thomas J. Weidner grew up in South Minneapolis and worked his way through college and law school. He is a graduate of Augsburg College and William Mitchell College of Law. Tom first made contact with our firm as a law clerk. He fell in love with the firm and with the St. Croix River Valley and promptly joined the firm when offered an associate position after law school. Tom has been a partner with the firm since 1994.
Tom practices exclusively in personal injury, wrongful death and products liability including automobile accidents, accidental death claims, injuries to children, nursing home injuries, premise liability claims including "slip and fall" and a variety of other negligence cases. Tom has obtained several settlements for his clients in excess of one million dollars. He works closely with his clients to minimize the impact of a tragic accident on their lives and maximize the recoveries for their losses. Tom has lectured at legal seminars on personal injury litigation and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases.
Tom is a member of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, and was selected by his peers as "Super Lawyer" in 2002 - 2004 in Minnesota Law and Politics and Mpls/St. Paul magazine. This designation is strictly limited to no more than 5% of the members of those practicing law in Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota Board of Governors and the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Tom, his wife and their two young daughters live in Stillwater. Tom volunteers for youth athletic associations in the St. Croix Valley area. He is also involved with the St. Croix Valley American Heart Association, the City of Stillwater Planning Commission and the Warren Burger Inns of Courts.
