My name is Tim W. Fleming. I am an attorney practicing in downtown Mobile, AL. I have been practicing law for 24 years, covering a wide array of cases. I currently handle Criminal Defense and Personal Injury cases, as well as other types of cases. I practice in all Municipal Courts, State Courts and Federal Courts.

Too often I hear people say "there was no way to win." I don't believe that. I believe you should "Find A Way to Win, Not A Reason To Lose." Together, you and I will identify the "win" in your case and go get it. Remember that every case is different. Every case has different witnesses with different backgrounds. Each case has different factors, some positive and some negative. These have to be analyzed when deciding which course of action to take.

I pay close personal attention to my clients. I know their case is the most important one to them. I respect that, and I would feel the same way.

I graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 1984 and immediately moved to the Mobile area. I have practiced in Mobile and Baldwin Counties since then, as well as neighboring counties. In addition to my private practice, I was also an Assistant District Attorney for the Mobile County District Attorney's Office in the 1990's for several years.

My office is located in west Mobile, with easy access to both the State and Federal Courthouses.

My experiences as a prosecutor and as a defense attorney have given me good incite to criminal cases and how best to solve them.

SAMPLE LEGAL CASES

Does Getting a Document Notarized Make It "Legal"?
The public's perception of what a notary does and what notarization accomplishes is often incorrect. This is particularly the case when a person brings a document to a notary public to be notarized, thinking that the notarization will in some way "legalize" the document or make it "official." Learn more here.
Unmarried? You Are Not Alone, But You Still Need a Plan
Did you know that in many instances, it is even more important that a single person have a well-coordinated estate plan, than a married couple. This is because the default laws governing estates often work poorly for people without a spouse and may not adequately provide for a significant other or unmarried partner. Having a cohesive and well-drafted estate plan will ensure that you protect and provide for those you truly care about upon your death. Learn more here.
When an Adult Needs a Guardian of Property
There are two types of guardianships: a guardianship of the person and a guardianship of the property (also known as a guardianship of the estate or a conservatorship). A guardian of the person is responsible for the ward’s physical safety and well-being. A guardian of the property is responsible for the ward’s money and assets. Learn more here.
