About Todd
Todd was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 2000. He then returned home to attend the University of Houston Law Center, where he obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2003. During law school, Todd participated in several national moot court competitions, in which he won honors for both his brief writing and oral advocacy skills, and also served as a senior articles editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. In addition, he authored a comment, entitled Texas, Covenants Not to Compete, and the Twenty-First Century: Can the Pieces Fit Together in a Dot.Com Business World?, that won the Distinguished Paper in General Business Award and was selected to be published.
After graduating from law school, Todd began his legal career by serving as the law clerk for the Honorable Nancy K. Johnson, United States Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas. After two years of law clerk experience, Todd joined Schwartz, Junell, Greenberg & Oathout, L.L.P., in the fall of 2005. His areas of practice include commercial and business litigation, labor and employment litigation, and products liability. Todd was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2003 and the State Bar of Florida in 2005, is licensed to practice before all state courts of Texas and Florida, and is a member of the Houston Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and Texas Young Lawyers Association.
