Originally from Colorado, Cory completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Utah State University before moving on to the University of Utah for law school. She enjoys using her education and experience to help others in the Tooele community. Cory has practiced in numerous areas, including real estate, construction defect, constitutional law, family law, and more. Recently, Cory has enjoyed narrowing her practice areas to estate planning, personal injury, and public defense. Over the past few years, Cory has become even more passionate about protecting the rights of disadvantaged members of her community and has focused her criminal practice on public defense. Cory genuinely enjoys her work as the Tooele County Managing Defender and her role in elevating defense resources for all persons charged with a crime.

Anthony McMullin is the founding partner of McMullin Injury Law and the firm carries his name. Anthony was raised in St. George, Utah—the same town where the main office of McMullin Injury Law is located. He completed coursework for a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Relations at Southern Utah University (SUU) in 2006. After college, he was accepted to the Claude W. Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University where he earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree in 2008. During law school, he honed his researching skills as a Research Assistant for Professor Bruce C. French, a law professor and a licensed practicing attorney. Anthony’s ability to research and understand important information about a case is something that his current clients greatly appreciate. After he graduated from law school, Anthony accepted a position at Jacob Hafter & Associates in Las Vegas, Nevada. At this law firm, he focused on real estate transactions and loan modifications. Although he enjoyed his work in Las Vegas, he moved back to St. George in 2009 to help clients who have been injured by the negligent actions of someone else. Anthony is skilled at negotiating with insurance adjusters on behalf of his clients. He understands that people who have been hurt in accidents are facing difficult physical and, often, financial challenges. For those reasons, he is a strong advocate for his clients. Everyone needs some downtime and Anthony spends his golfing, riding his motorcycle, and being with his wife and children in sunny St. George. As a desert dweller, he favors Southwestern Utah’s clear sunny days over the snow and rain of colder climates. While living in Florida for a couple of years during a mission for his church, he developed a love of Cuban food and fresh seafood, but those are tough competitors to his favorite Italian food he gets from the local Pasta Factory. Anthony is a licensed attorney in both Utah and Nevada. He is affiliated with the State Bar of Nevada, the Utah State Bar Association, the Utah State Bar Association Litigation Division, and the Southern Utah Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in all Utah and Nevada State Courts as well as the United States District Courts for the District of Nevada and the District of Utah.

Traci Gundersen, Of Counsel, is both a real estate sales agent and real estate attorney with nearly twenty years of experience. Her real estate sales focus on single family residences in Draper and the south Salt Lake valley area. Her law practice covers a broad array of real estate topics, including planning and zoning issues, real estate licensing and ethics rules, and handling landlord/tenant disputes.

Jantz is the newest attorney at McMullin Injury Law. He has been with our firm since 2022. Jantz works in the litigation team of our firm with Nate Langston and Paul McMullin. Jantz spends 100% of his time litigating cases. That means that when insurance companies won't do what's right, and negotiations break down, Jantz steps in to force their hand. He drafts and files the necessary documents with the court such that we can work towards a judge, jury, or arbitrator deciding what outcome is right so that the insurance company is forced to do the right thing.

George T. Waddoups has practiced law since 1982. Born and raised in Brigham City, Utah, George has enjoyed practicing law in the state of Utah because of the deep sense of community he feels for Utahans. George has always been involved with the community, whether teaching high school seminary or coaching baseball, basketball or soccer. He is motivated by his sense of civic and community responsibility. George has often spoken to high school civics and history classes. After graduating from the Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Pre-law, as well as a minor in Economics, he pursued a Juris Doctorate from Memphis State University. George has always felt that education is a high priority and has instilled that in his five children. Two of his five children, Riley and Michelle Waddoups, both practice law. George has represented many people over the years, recovering over $300 million dollars for his clients in settlements and verdicts, and has reached numerous seven and eight-figure settlements. One of George’s most notable cases involved a trucking accident, which resulted in a wrongful death. George’s client was traveling on the highway, when a semi-truck made a left turn in front of him. He had little time to react, and the impact of the incident killed him. The jury reached a verdict in the case and awarded George’s client and gave his family $58.5 million dollars. This was a major relief to the victim’s family to help for future expenses that would come as a result of losing their father. George is a member of numerous legal organizations. George is rated by his peers and has been nominated a Super Lawyer for ten years, and Legal Elite for many years. Over his thirty-nine years of practice, George has been recognized nationally for his work. George has also been recognized as one of the The National Trial Lawyers Top 100, an award that recognizes an attorney’s success in preserving justice for all. George is also part of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel Top 1%. George has worked tirelessly in advocating for his clients’ relief through getting justice and obtaining fair compensation from insurance companies. Through donating his time and money, George has shown a devoted sense of community. He has regularly contributed to numerous charities. George enjoys spending time with his five children at Bear Lake, where they like to boat and spend time outdoors. George also enjoys cruising around on his Harley motorcycle, exploring the Midwest.

Adam’s practice focuses on family law, personal injury, and civil litigation. Adam’s family law practice focuses on issues such as divorce, child support, alimony, custody, protective orders, modification orders, and paternity actions. Adam helps clients through times of significant family transition through the court and mediation processes. Adam’s personal injury practice focuses on helping clients after car or motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and fall accidents, and medical malpractice claims. Adam has a passion for helping people that have been injured through the careless action of others. Adam’s litigation and settlement practice is focused on helping individuals and businesses resolve disputes and solve problems in a wide range of litigation matters, including business and commercial disputes, real property, trust disputes, torts, and contract disputes. While Adam has significant litigation and trial experience, he also understands the value and benefit of alternative dispute resolution. Dallin F. Checketts is a general practice attorney with specialized expertise in real estate and eminent domain. He earned a degree in Economics from Utah State University and his Juris Doctor from BYU Law. Dallin has worked as a realtor, entrepreneur, and in-house counsel for a successful real estate development company. Dallin can simplify complex legal issues, making them more accessible and less intimidating for his clients. He believes conflict and uncertainty are detrimental to the well-being of his clients, so he strives to reduce the stress typically associated with complex legal issues by providing clear paths forward for those he represents. His approach not only eases the legal journey for his clients but also ensures that they are well-informed and confident in every step they take. Dallin is a man of honesty and integrity—except for when he tricked his sweetheart, who is way out of his league, into marrying him. His commitments to family, friends, and faith reflect his grounded and approachable nature, qualities that he brings to his work at the firm. Jake graduated from law school at the University of Utah and has several years of experience working for both insurance companies and injured victims. His experience has taught him how insurance companies work, how they think, and how they defend a claim. Jake enjoys and prefers assisting people who are injured by the wrongful acts of others and holding insurance companies' feet to the fire to provide a fair resolution. Understanding the defense strategies used by insurance companies has enabled Jake to use that knowledge to assist injured parties and collect the money they deserve from insurance companies. Jake takes great pride in getting things right for his clients, down to the last detail. He takes time to explain the process to his clients so that they feel comfortable and understand what is happening with their case. Jake is licensed to practice law in Utah and Nevada. He has a wife and three children. When not working, he can be found enjoying the outdoors, walking his dogs, riding his dirt bike, or spending time with his family. He is also an avid sports fan.
