Melton Law was founded by William L. Melton. William has taken pride in serving his clients and his community for many years. After experiencing his own encounters with the legal system he decided to dedicate his career to the pursuit of law. William has been involved in proactively changing to improve the community in multiple ways throughout his career. In addition to fighting for his clients in the courtroom, William is also actively involved in making changes at the legislative level. In 2015, William helped lobby and successfully pass the alternative parent-time schedule. This new law substantially increased the amount of time that non-custodial parents receive with their children. Additionally, William is an appointed member by the governor to a state Child Support Guidelines Committee. The committee is responsible for making recommendations to the legislature for changes to the child support guidelines. William has worked on hundreds of different cases from minor traffic infractions to major sex crimes and white-collar crimes. William is an experienced trial attorney with experience on all sides of a criminal case. During law school, William clerked for the Hon. Judge Parker in the Third Judicial District Court, he assisted clients in the Idaho Street Law Clinic and worked in the Utah County Attorney's Office prosecuting cases in both their misdemeanor and major crimes divisions. Brian C. Stewart is a litigation attorney at Parker & McConkie, Personal Injury Lawyers. Brian has devoted his legal practice and career to representing people and families injured in accidents. Andrew has been with McMullin Injury Law since 2013. He became a partner at the firm in 2018. While in law school, Andrew was a Dean’s Recruitment Award recipient, a Charles E. Jones Scholar recipient, and he earned the Pedrick Scholar Award for excellence in academic achievement. He also won the “CALI Excellence for the Future Award” for achieving the highest grade in a practical application clinic entitled, “The Litigation Experience.” This was the crowning achievement of Andrew’s legal education as litigation and courtroom techniques had been his focus throughout his law school experience. Andrew also served as the judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Bruce R. Cohen of the Maricopa County Superior Court. Andrew's legal practice focuses primarily on personal injury, workers compensation, and civil litigation. Prior to moving to Arizona for law school, Andrew graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Communication from Dixie State University. Aria Nejad is the founder of ADN Law Group, PLLC. In 2008, Mr. Nejad graduated with honors from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He then worked as an Investment Advisor for Wells Fargo Bank before deciding on attending law school. In 2013, he earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. He is licensed to practice law in both Utah State Court and Utah Federal District Court. During his time in law school Mr. Nejad testified in front of the Utah State Senate and Utah House of Representatives on public policy matters. He assisted the ACLU by drafting Research Memoranda, Testimony, and Legislative Briefing Summaries on various bills during the 2012 and 2013 legislative sessions on Utah’s Capitol Hill. In 2012, he was awarded the Fabian Law Scholarship for his dedication to Pro-Bono work & academic excellence. After receiving his B.A. from Brigham Young University, Joseph Jardine studied at the University of Idahos College of Law, graduating with his juris doctor degree and quickly passing bar exams in both Idaho and Utah. Kevin Swenson was raised in Bountiful, Utah, and is a co-founding partner of Swenson & Shelley. After graduating from Bountiful High School, Kevin attended business school at Westminster College. While in college, Kevin owned and ran a sign company and also worked as an ambulance driver and firefighter. Kevin loved his work in the emergency medical arena. Kevin graduated from law school at the University of Utah and then worked as a defense attorney for insurance companies. Nathan Langston was raised here in St. George, Utah. He can relate to our locals in that some of us may be a bit hesitant to even contact a personal injury attorney. Nate gets it, and he can help. Nate is the head of the litigation department at McMullin Injury Law. Before joining our firm in 2018, Nate spent most of the last decade working at three different large personal injury law firms across the State of Utah. He has an enormous amount of experience in litigating cases through lawsuits once negotiations with the insurance company break down. Nate is a seasoned trial lawyer with a vast amount of jury trial experience. His experience in personal injury motion practice is second to none in Southern Utah. Nate knows all too well the runaround we Southern Utahn’s get when dealing with insurance claims departments. He loves being available to his clients to walk them through the process and answer any questions. His breadth of litigation and trial experience has given Nate the reputation of a bit of a bulldog.
