About Vincent
Vincent Patrick Wyatt was born in 1974, in Nashville Tennessee. He was raised in Nashville, Tennessee and attended Father Ryan High School, graduating in 1992.
He attended Vanderbilt University and served as an equipment manager on the Vanderbilt University 1994, 1995 and 1996 football teams. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He served as the Chief Bill Clerk in Chief Clerk of the Tennessee House of Representatives Office for the 100th General Assembly.
In 1997, Mr. Wyatt entered law school at The University of Memphis School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee. He served as a member of the University of Memphis Law Review. He was twice elected to serve as student bar governor. During his law school summers, Mr. Wyatt served as a legal clerk for the law firm of King & Ballow. He was employed for one summer in their Nashville office and served in their San Diego office for one summer. He graduated from The University of Memphis School of Law in May, 2000.
After completing law school, Mr. Wyatt took and passed the July 2000 bar examination and entered the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. Mr. Wyatt completed Naval Officer Indoctrination School and the Naval Justice School training in Newport, Rhode Island between October 2000 and March 2001. After a brief stint on the USS DEWERT (FFG 45), Mr. Wyatt reported to Naval Air Station Jacksonville in April, 2001 to serve as Trial Counsel at the Trial Service Office Southeast in Jacksonville, FL. As Trial Counsel, Mr. Wyatt prosecuted 73 courts-martial. Bench and jury trials included cases of rape, child molestation, sexual harassment, drug distribution, larceny, child pornography, and various other offenses. Mr. Wyatt also provided legal advice to Naval area commands, which included serving as a legal advisor to a Destroyer Squadron Commander aboard the USS FIFE (DD 991) during underway exercises in South America. While aboard the USS FIFE, Mr. Wyatt was initiated as a honorable shellback.
Mr. Wyatt transfered to the Naval Legal Service Office Southeast in January 2004. As a legal assistance attorney, Mr. Wyatt provided legal counsel to and negotiated on behalf of clients in the areas of consumer law, landlord/tenant law, real estate, adoption, immigration, domestic relations, and estate planning. He drafted hundreds of wills, living wills, powers of attorney, leases, contracts, and separation agreements.
Mr. Wyatt received a honorable discharge from the United States Navy on September 30, 2004.
In October 2004, Mr. Wyatt joined the law firm of Hollins, Wagster, Yarbrough, Weatherly & Raybin, P.C.. Mr. Wyatt practices in the areas of criminal law, divorce & domestic relations, personal injury, probate, wills, estate planing, and various civil litigation.
