About Wade

Practicing Law representing consumers for over 25 years.  Graduated from University at Buffalo Law School with honors.  AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, received the Client Service Award, AVVO 10 rating.  Author of numerous Special Reports on Injury Law matters, author of a book "Sharing the Secrets, Learning the Lies" A Guide to Personal Injury.

A bit about my personal background, you should know that the most important thing in my life is my wife, Joan and my five children.  They are the lights of my life.  I met my wife Joan at a Methodist church picnic.  We were married in that church and still attend today.  I was raised on a dairy farm in Central New York where I worked for my Dad and Grandfather, (A fun fact about me is that in addition to farm work, my brothers and I had a paper route, delivering for the Syracuse Herald Journal 7 days a week.)  served in the United States Army, two Members of Congress and have practiced law in Central Florida for over 25 years, representing thousands of consumers in large and small, simple and complex legal cases in Florida, New York, District of Columbia, Georgia and Michigan.

My team has obtained outstanding results in a variety of cases.  But the fact is I would by lying to you if I told you every case turns out the way our clients and ourselves would like.   Like all lawyers we have cases that have achieved an outstanding result, and some we lost.  (If a lawyer tells you they never lose a case you should run out the door).

I have  a multi-disciplinary expert legal team that I am very proud to have developed over the years  which handles cases as diverse as personal injury, workers compensation, disability, probate and family law.  We have recovered millions on behalf of our clients.  One of the first things you hear in our office is "how can we help". My goal is to be helpful with a client's legal matters.  In fact, my practice areas and my office revolve around  our efforts to help our clients.  Many times I find that a client may actually have several legal matters that have arisen from one incident.  To get a better result we find it best to coordinate efforts.  For instance if a person was working while driving a motor vehicle and was in an accident, this injured person could have a workers compensation case, a personal injury case, a no-fault case, possibly a social security disability case, a long term disability case and possibly a case against their health insurance company.  In some cases, a person may have a family law matter that has been somewhat caused by the loss of income from an accident.  We find the same applies when there has been a death.  This type of case requires both a probate action and a wrongful death suit, along with other areas of the law to coordinate.  The interrelationship between these practice areas means if your lawyer doesn't understand each area well and coordinate benefits appropriately, you, the client may not receive the best result.

Hiring a lawyer is in many cases is a very intimate decision since many legal cases are about the impact of an event on you and your family.  It's very personal.  If we are to work together in a legal case,   it is important to get to know each other.    I value our relationship and work to completely understand the impact of a legal case on you, which I believe is invaluable to obtaining the best result possible for you.  You will find that my advice will be direct and straight forward, as if, in some cases, I was making a decision with a family member.
