Notable Work
Attorney for the Defendant in a case in which said Defendant plead guilty to seriously injuring a pedestrian with her car while under the influence. Said Defendant drove down a one way at a high rate of speed and hit the victim after hitting a curb and going airborne. Her blood alcohol rate was twice the legal limit and she was sentenced to 5 months of incarceration. Her attorney argued that the felony charge should be dropped to a lesser offense since she is a law student who has already completed 2 years in law school, citing that the felony conviction would lessen her chance of being able to finish. The Prosecuting Attorney opposed as did the judge.
