Wendy Stein can be reached at 954-761-3550. She is a shareholder of Keller Landsberg PA and focuses her practice on insurance coverage issues, commercial litigation, professional malpractice defense, and health law, including life, health and disability benefit disputes. Ms. Stein has litigated cases around the country, including the defense of class actions as well as federal litigation arising out of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Sherman Antitrust Act, the Lanham Act, the Copyright Act, and the Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act.
Ms. Stein received degrees from the University of Georgia, B.A., cum laude; and Florida State University College of Law, J.D., cum laude. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
Since 2004, she has been a certified instructor of Adjuster Law and Policy Courses for the Department of Financial Services. Her memberships include the Broward County Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. Ms. Stein authored the case note, “Powell v. Georgia,” published in FSU Law Review, Summer 2000; co-authored the chapter entitled, “Motions in Limine” in The Defense Speaks, practice manual from the Florida Defense Lawyer’s Association, 2006; and authored “MLR: The Controversial Calculation Makes Its Appearance In The Health Care Reform Debate,” ABA Health eSource, March 2010.

Ms. Stein is a South Florida native. While attending law school, she represented domestic violence victims at the Children’s Advocacy Center and clerked for the Honorable Nikki Ann Clark (now sitting on the First District Court of Appeal for Florida).
When she is not litigating, Ms. Stein indulges in sports. She is an avid cyclist and triathlete, and a member of Team StormRiders, a health care themed cycling group dedicated to raising money for various local and national charities.
