William Weatherly is a senior partner at The Morgan Law Group. He handles first party property litigation claims in Mississippi and Louisiana.
Before joining The Morgan Law Group, William worked with Phelps Dunbar, a large defense firm in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the Maritime Section, and later with White and Morse, a Gulfport, Mississippi defense firm for two years, before starting his own firm.
William founded his own law practice in Gulfport, Mississippi, which emphasized personal injury litigation, real estate closings, estates, workers compensation claims, product liability claims, insurance policyholder litigation, and general litigation.

William was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, and attended Gulfport High School where he graduated from in 1978. William graduated from The University of Mississippi in 1982 and attended Law School at Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. He was a member of Law Review and graduated Cum Laude in 1985.
William has been married to Callen P. Weatherly for over 22 years and they have five children together. They live in Gulfport, Mississippi, and are members of St. James Catholic Church. William, in his past, has been an avid sailor competing in numerous ocean races and international regattas. William has taught many Gulf Coast residents how to sail competitively and was Commodore of the Gulfport Yacht Club in 2000. William was a founding shareholder of the Coast Community Bank and enjoys giving back to his community having sponsored the Gulf Coast Maritime Museum in Gulfport, as well as the donated the playground equipment for St Marks Episcopal Church in Gulfport.
