About William
WILLIAM E. WENDLING, Jr. was admitted to the bar in Indiana in 1983. Mr. Wendling obtained a B.S. from Texas A & I University in 1973, and his law degree from Indiana University in 1983. He is recognized by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory with its highest rating. Before joining Cohen Garelick & Glazier, P.C., Mr. Wendling was a partner for 26 years at Campbell Kyle Proffitt LLP in Carmel, Indiana. Prior to that, he served as a law clerk to the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and practiced law in Indianapolis. Additionally, he was appointed to serve as a member of the Indiana Employment Relations Board by the Governor of the State of Indiana and has served in that capacity for 15 years. Mr. Wendling's practice is concentrated in litigation, ranging from personal injury cases to business litigation. He is also a registered mediator in domestic and civil matters. Mr. Wendling has been approved as a Receiver in both state and federal courts. He has been appointed Receiver as result of actions brought by the State of Indiana Securities Commissioner, as well the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in federal court. In addition, he practices land use law and previously served as the attorney for the Carmel/Clay Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. He has, on occasion, served as an instructor to attorneys in connection with their continuing legal education requirements. Mr. Wendling has been a member of the Indiana Supreme Court's Committee on Character and Fitness since 1993 assisting in screening the qualifications and fitness of new attorneys in the state of Indiana.
During his 33 years of practice, Mr. Wendling has been selected to serve as local counsel in both state and federal courts in numerous high profile complex litigation cases.
