Mark Peake has been practicing law in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, civil litigation, products liability, and criminal defense since 1988. He has extensive trial experience in Virginia’s state and federal courts, and he has successfully appealed a number of cases to the Supreme Court of Virginia. He is a former President of the Lynchburg Bar Association. In addition to his law practice, Mark represents Virginia’s 22nd Senate District in the Senate of Virginia, which includes the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham, Cumberland, Fluvanna, Goochland, Prince Edward County, and parts of Louisa County and the City of Lynchburg. In the Virginia Senate, Mark serves on the Courts of Justice Committee, the Transportation Committee, the Education and Health Committee, and the Privileges and Elections Committee. Mark is a 1985 graduate of Virginia Tech, and he received his legal education at Washington & Lee University, where he was a member of the Washington & Lee Law Review.

Originally from Bedford County, Matthew joined the law firm in 2018 as a full-time associate, following his graduation from the Liberty University School of Law. Matthew has a significant amount of experience as a trusted Personal Injury attorney. Prior to law school, Matthew worked as a defense litigation paralegal from 2011-2015, specializing in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice. During this time, Matthew was elected as Vice President for the Roanoke Valley Paralegal Association for two subsequent annual terms before applying to law school. In addition, Matthew dedicated his personal time to serving the community as a Big Brother for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America; tutoring at a local youth center; serving as a member of the Roanoke Kiwanis Club; and working as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for the Roanoke CASA program. While in law school, Matthew was an active member of Liberty University School of Law’s Trial Team, placing 2nd and 3rd, respectively, at the regional and national trial team competitions for the American Bar Association in 2017. Matthew also furthered his experience by interning at multiple law firms representing Plaintiffs in personal injury cases, First Amendment retaliation cases, and Worker’s Compensation cases. Matthew is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA), the Virginia Bar Association, Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Matthew is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Matthew is also admitted to practice before all state courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Virginia.
