Questions & Answers

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

First and foremost, clients should look for a lawyer who respects them as an individual and whose team members and handling of their case reflects at all times a client-first approach.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Having detailed knowledge of local courts is important to competent and efficient representation of clients. We work hard to stay up to date on all local forums and to get up to speed with unfamiliar locales by networking with trusted colleagues.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

I take the time to ensure clients are fully heard, prepared and educated, personally spending time to get to know my clients thoroughly. I am a bilingual, first generation immigrant, and a woman of color from a modest background. I can relate to the challenges that clients face socioeconomically and psychologically when they experience injustice and need help fighting back. I also devote significant time to speaking engagements where I educate and learn from other attorneys in my practice areas.
