About Adam

Adam Voyles was born July 24, 1971 and is married with three children. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Southern Methodist University in Accounting and his J.D. from the University of Houston. In 2005, Texas Monthly Magazine recognized him as a "Texas Super Lawyer."

Adam Voyles focuses his commercial litigation practice in the areas of officer/director liability lawsuits, shareholder actions, construction law, contract disputes and bankruptcy matters. His clients include both individuals and large corporations.

Among his many trial successes, in 2000 Adam obtained a significant judgment in an adversary proceeding before the Honorable Judge Stephen Felsenthal, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. Between 2000 and 2006, Adam has been lead counsel in numerous other business/commercial disputes which resulted in significant recoveries for his clients.

He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, Adam has authored papers including Fair Valuation, The Meaning of "Fair Valuation" For The Purposes of Determining Solvency in Recovery Actions, Business Valuation in Bankruptcy, hosted by American Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, February 2001.

Adam's speaking engagements include interviews and/or consultations with The O'Reilly Factor, April and May 2005; CNBC's Wake-Up Call, September 2003; Court TV's Catherine Crier Live, May 2005; FOX News, June 2005; and KPRC's Channel 2 News, February 2006. Adam also appeared on CNBC's Wake-Up Call in September 2003 discussing Worldcom/MCI's Plan of Reorganization.
