About Amii

Amii attended the University of Kansas where she obtained degrees in Political Science and Crime & Delinquency Studies. Amii graduated in 1994 with Highest Distinction and Honors in Political Science and received the prestigious Eldon Fields Award.

Thereafter, Amii attended the University of Kansas Law School. While in law school, Amii was awarded the William Burdick Prize (top-ranking first-year law student), the Payne & Jones Appellate Advocacy Award, and numerous CALI Awards. Amii also instructed Appellate Advocacy and was an editor of the Kansas Law Review. In 1997, Amii graduated Order of the Coif, at which time she received the C.C. Stewart Award in Law recognizing her as the number one ranked graduating law student.

Amii has extensive experience clerking for federal judges, including the Honorable Pasco Bowman, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the Honorable Carlos Murguia, United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Amii focuses her law practice on business and employment litigation. In so doing, Amii litigates a wide array of business, contract, and property disputes and has extensive experience in insurance defense and subrogation litigation. Amii also defends employers in disputes involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and unemployment claims and represents clients in all aspects of the employment relationship.
