About Arturo
ARTURO R. ALFONSO, P.A.
Arturo R. Alfonso, P.A., is engaged in the general practice of law in Miami, Florida. The firm is a professional association comprised of a single shareholder/attorney and a highly qualified legal secretary. The firm was established on July 1, 1991.
Prior to establishing the firm, Arturo R. Alfonso worked at the law firm of Anderson, Moss, Parks, & Russo, P.A., a successful personal injury law firm in Miami, for two and a half years, where he gained substantial experience in the area of personal injury.
Arturo R. Alfonso graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in 1987. He was a member of numerous clubs and organizations, particularly Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society, a highly recognized and powerful organization aimed at helping students achieve a strong medical foundation and acceptance into medical school. He graduated with top grades, and chose to use the sciences as a background for his legal career.
In May 1990, Arturo R. Alfonso graduated from the Shepard Broad Law Center, Nova University. There he received extensive training and education from highly qualified professionals.
ARTURO R. ALFONSO, P.A. is devoted to providing solutions to legal problems occurring to people in the ordinary course of living, with a majority of its practice limited to the areas of probate, matrimonial (i.e. divorces, paternity, custody, support and child care), real estate, and tort law.
A general law practice requires knowledge of a broad spectrum of legal concepts. Accordingly, Arturo R. Alfonso asserts a continuing effort to maintain a diversity of knowledge as to all areas of the law, but with continued emphasis in the areas of civil litigation, matrimonial and real estate issues. Ultimately, Arturo R. Alfonso would like to build a successful family, real estate and litigation practice.
Arturo R. Alfonso believes in office automation and he uses his computer and software to maximize the benefits of his legal services to his clients. By use of office automation, Arturo R. Alfonso generates quality work and achieves more efficient results for his clients.
ARTURO R. ALFONSO, P.A. is conveniently located next to the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826). Arturo R. Alfonso is proud of the close personal relationships he has with his clients, and resolve to maintain those relationships will be a material consideration in connection with any potential growth of his firm. Despite his commitment to technology, he believes that access to a lawyer continues to be far more important than access to a computer.
Virtually all of Mr. Alfonso's clients receive monthly interim statements for legal services performed, whether the matter is of a short or long duration. He has a firm policy, consistent with the Code of Professional Responsibility of the State of Florida, to enter into written Legal Representation Agreements with his clients, both to define the specific scope of his engagement and to provide the method by which legal fees will be determined and will become due. His experience has proven that attentiveness to these details at the outset of engagements minimizes the risk of misunderstandings at a later date. Monthly interim billings also permits his clients to regularly evaluate the cost of legal representation concerning matters handled on their behalf.
