Shelley graduated from the University of Alabama in 2011 with her Master’s in Social Work. After that, she attended and graduated from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, AL, and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2015. During law school, Shelley gained valuable experience through judicial clerkships, serving as a law clerk for the Honorable J. Greg Shaw, Associate Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, and the Honorable W. Scott Donaldson of the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals. Immediately following law school, she returned to Tuscaloosa where she spearheaded the development and implementation of a comprehensive criminal pretrial diversion program, which she directed until 2022. At that time, she began practicing law in Birmingham where she developed a diverse litigation practice encompassing local government representation, domestic relations, probate administration, and criminal defense. Although Shelley will continue to practice in these areas, she will be primarily focused on local government and other public entity representation, corporate law, and civil litigation. Shelley lives in the Argo- area of St. Clair County with her fiancé and two kids. Outside of the office, she loves exploring the outdoors through hiking, fishing, gardening, cooking and hosting gatherings for family and friends, and traveling to new places. Bob has practiced law since 1995. He grew up in Hartselle, Alabama and graduated from Hartselle High School in 1987. He received an undergraduate degree in 1990 from the University of Alabama and his law degree from the University in 1995. He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September of 1995. Prior to law school, Bob served U. S. Senator Richard Shelby as Campaign Finance Director. While in law school, he was legal research assistant to Dean Charles Gamble, author of McElroy’s Alabama Evidence. He served as Vice-president of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Bob was selected for publication in the Alabama Trial Lawyer’s Journal. His article entitled, “Making the Internet an Indispensable Part of Case Evaluation and Investigation” appeared in the Fall 1999 edition. He had previously delivered this topic at the 1999 ATLA Annual Summer Seminar. Bob was also appointed to be co-chair of the Automobile Law subcommittee of the American Bar Association. He served on the Executive Committee of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and moderates an online discussion group for Alabama Trial Lawyers.
