Myesha Harrell, Esquire, brings a rare blend of determination, curiosity, and compassion to her role as Managing Attorney for Alabama at LLG National Law Group. From an early age, she set her sights on a future in advocacy. When a pageant judge once asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she confidently answered that she would become a lawyer, a mathematician, and an engineer. That early ambition shaped a lifelong commitment to pursuing knowledge, helping others, and challenging systems that leave people without a fair chance. Her drive to practice law deepened over time as she watched friends face a justice system that did not treat them equitably. That experience left a lasting impression and strengthened her resolve to become a voice for people who are often overlooked or underestimated. Today, she channels that purpose into every case she takes on, especially when a client is up against a powerful institution that has caused harm. Knowing she can help someone recover after being wronged is what fuels her work at LLG National Law Group. Before entering the legal field, Myesha built a successful career in engineering and quality systems, most recently serving as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for Pfizer. In that role, she introduced new quality programs, led audits, conducted root cause analysis, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and safety. Her background in data-driven problem-solving and regulatory compliance gives her a unique edge when analyzing complex matters and preparing legal strategies. Her legal experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Southern University Law Center, a Legal Intern with Edgecombe County's District Attorney's Office, and a Congressional Law Intern for Congressman G. K. Butterfield. These positions helped her refine her research and writing abilities, which she now considers among her greatest strengths. She has received recognition for her writing, contributed research for a law review article, and consistently approaches legal issues with both precision and creativity. Attorney Stephen H. Jones has been in the practice of Law for over 20 years.

Joseph R. Kemp, a lifelong resident of Alabama, is a graduate of The Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (1992) and the University of Alabama (1989). Joe began practicing law in 1992. In 1996, he formed the law office of Joseph R. Kemp, P.C. in Pell City, Alabama. He relocated his office to Leeds in 2015, and in March 2019 he was pleased to join the firm of Hill, Gossett, Kemp, Barrentine & Seay, P.C. Joe has held leadership positions in prominent legal organizations, having served on the board of trustees for a committee in the Alabama State Bar and as president of the St. Clair County Bar Association. In addition, he was appointed to the Alabama Council on Developmental Disabilities in Governor Bob Riley’s Administration. Joe has been an active member of the Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce. He and his family are members of Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church. Joseph Kemp is married to Skyla C. Kemp. They have three children, one dog, four goats and a few chickens.

Matt Gossett works as a criminal defense lawyer as well as a prosecutor in various municipalities in St. Clair County. Shelley graduated from the University of Alabama in 2011 with her Master’s in Social Work. After that, she attended and graduated from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, AL, and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2015. During law school, Shelley gained valuable experience through judicial clerkships, serving as a law clerk for the Honorable J. Greg Shaw, Associate Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, and the Honorable W. Scott Donaldson of the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals. Immediately following law school, she returned to Tuscaloosa where she spearheaded the development and implementation of a comprehensive criminal pretrial diversion program, which she directed until 2022. At that time, she began practicing law in Birmingham where she developed a diverse litigation practice encompassing local government representation, domestic relations, probate administration, and criminal defense. Although Shelley will continue to practice in these areas, she will be primarily focused on local government and other public entity representation, corporate law, and civil litigation. Shelley lives in the Argo- area of St. Clair County with her fiancé and two kids. Outside of the office, she loves exploring the outdoors through hiking, fishing, gardening, cooking and hosting gatherings for family and friends, and traveling to new places. She is admitted to the practice of law in Alabama and in all of Alabama’s federal district courts.

Bob has practiced law since 1995. He grew up in Hartselle, Alabama and graduated from Hartselle High School in 1987. He received an undergraduate degree in 1990 from the University of Alabama and his law degree from the University in 1995. He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September of 1995. Prior to law school, Bob served U. S. Senator Richard Shelby as Campaign Finance Director. While in law school, he was legal research assistant to Dean Charles Gamble, author of McElroy’s Alabama Evidence. He served as Vice-president of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Bob was selected for publication in the Alabama Trial Lawyer’s Journal. His article entitled, “Making the Internet an Indispensable Part of Case Evaluation and Investigation” appeared in the Fall 1999 edition. He had previously delivered this topic at the 1999 ATLA Annual Summer Seminar. Bob was also appointed to be co-chair of the Automobile Law subcommittee of the American Bar Association. He served on the Executive Committee of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and moderates an online discussion group for Alabama Trial Lawyers.
