Ferris Ritchey has over 35 years of experience in a wide range of legal matters with an emphasis on Domestic Relations, Mediation, Collaborative, Probate and Estate Planning. As a domestic relations attorney, Ferris attempts to resolve complicated divorce issues such as custody and property settlement in a manner to avoid litigation if possible. Although parties to a divorce will no longer be husband and wife they will still be Mom and Dad attending their child or children’s school functions, ball games, recitals, other extra-curricular activities, graduations, wedding and more. To posture a case in a way that destroys the family is a disservice that should be avoided. This philosophy bodes well in probate matters also. Sara has litigated a variety of cases across the State of Alabama, including premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, wrongful death and trucking cases. Sara began her legal career as a civil defense attorney and has worked for some of the preeminent litigation firms of the State. Treasure Sutton is an Associate Attorney at Singleton Schreiber, based in the firm’s Birmingham office. Her practice focuses on personal injury and premises liability, where she draws on a strong foundation in trial advocacy and a deep commitment to justice for underserved communities. Treasure brings meaningful experience to her role at the firm, having supported the resolution of over 100 personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, and premises liability claims. She has also gained exposure to serious criminal matters through internships and clerkships, where she assisted in trial preparation, legal research, and client communication. Her background includes working closely with attorneys and judges on a variety of legal issues in both trial and pretrial settings. A graduate of Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, Treasure was a standout member of the National Trial Team, earning accolades including the William J. Peeler Advanced Trial Advocacy Award and the Michael V. Rasmussen Excellence in Trial Advocacy Award. She served as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association and Secretary of the Student Bar Association and participated in a study abroad program at Cambridge University, where she explored global legal systems and human rights issues. Treasure is passionate about community engagement and has served as a community outreach correspondent for her church, Living Stones Temple, a local nonprofit organization. In that role, she helped launch digital platforms and coordinated food distribution efforts for families during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also an active member of the church, where her dedication to service continues to inform her client-centered approach to legal practice.

Joshua Paul Jones is a knowledgeable trial attorney with over seven years of courtroom experience. Mr. Jones started his own law firm in 2011 after practicing at both the Montgomery County District Attorney's office and the law firm of Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C. At Joshua Paul Jones, Attorney at Law, LLC we handle matters relating to criminal defense, domestic relations/family law, estate planning and business organization. Mr. Jones has taken over two-hundred criminal and civil cases to trial, spending thousands of hours in the courtroom. That courtroom experience is extremely valuable in handling any case. While in law school Mr. Jones was instrumental in trial team competition as well as a second year class officer. During law school he interned at Northwestern Mutual Insurance company and the Montgomery County District Attorney's office. Mr. Jones graduated from law school in 2006 and immediately took a position with the District Attorney's office prosecuting felony cases. From 2006-2011 Mr. Jones worked in several divisions of the Montgomery County District Attorney's office. He worked for two and a half years in the adult division of the DA's office prosecuting various violent, property and narcotics crimes. During that time Mr. Jones took over a dozen felony cases to trial in front of a jury. In addition he tried countless bench trials and misdemeanor cases. From there Mr. Jones was transferred to the juvenile division and continued to try felony and misdemeanor cases for another two years. After leaving the District Attorney's office Mr. Jones worked for the law firm of Beasley Allen in their toxic torts division. During his time at Beasley Allen Mr. Jones worked on the BP oil spill litigation before starting his own practice.
