Attorney Omar J. Arcia is the founding force behind Arcia Law Office, bringing over two decades of legal experience and an unwavering commitment to justice. Mr. Arcia graduated with honors from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, earning a degree in Psychology. He continued his academic excellence at Florida State University Law School, graduating in 1995. During his time in law school, Mr. Arcia distinguished himself as a leader and scholar. He proudly served as President of the Spanish American Law Students Association, was selected to join the prestigious Florida State University Law Review, as well as the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy, where his scholarly articles were published. In 2000, driven by a passion to provide more personalized service, Mr. Arcia founded his own firm in Coral Gables, Florida. John M. Jorgensen is a fourth generation Floridian, who earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1982 from the University of Florida. Mr. Jorgensen joined Scott, Harris in 1982, and became a shareholder in 1992. He is currently the President and managing shareholder of the firm. He practices in the areas of civil litigation and trials, with emphasis on real property and business disputes, construction and land use litigation, landlord-tenant both commercial and residential, foreclosures, contract disputes, and appellate practice. He has over 40 years of civil litigation and trial experience, all of them with Scott/Harris. Mr. Jorgensen is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and represents clients in both state and federal courts throughout south Florida. He has done well over 100 civil trials in his career. Mr. Jorgensen has served as President of the North County Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and was also a member of the Association’s Board of Directors. He also served as chair of the Palm Beach County Land Use Advisory Board. He has received the highest AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Brian Roller has been litigating all types of cases – large and small – in jurisdictions throughout the country for more than 15 years. Brian was born and raised in the State of New Jersey, before leaving for undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Brian returned to the northeast, where he attended law school in Manhattan at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. At Cardozo, Brian was a member and editor of the moot court team. Today, Brian is an experienced litigator who is proud to represent individuals and corporations as they pursue justice from those who have wronged them. Brian’s extensive background and experience cover everything from personal injury actions against individuals and their insurers as well as municipalities and wrongful death actions, to complex commercial litigations in both state and Federal Courts across the country. Before becoming a lawyer, Brian had the unique opportunity to work at Good Karma Broadcasting, LLC and participate in the management of a start-up radio station group that was focused primarily on sports talk programming. Brian’s roles with the station group ranged from the executive producer of the sport’s station’s programming to reporter, sales liaison, interviewer, problem solver, and everything in between. This entrepreneurial experience provided Brian with a unique insight into the numerous and often complicated problems faced by businesses and their managers. Brian began his legal career working as an associate in New York for the prestigious national law firm of Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman, LLP. Brian is licensed to practice law before the courts of the State of Florida as well as before the courts of the State of New York and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Brian has also been admitted pro hac vice to practice in many other Federal and State courts around the country to represent clients in particular cases. Brian was trained in complex commercial litigation but has more recently represented many satisfied clients in high-stakes personal injury litigation. Outside of the office, Brian is a proud husband and father of three. Brian is also an avid sports fan and has a particular passion for the University of Wisconsin Badgers.

Gavin Elliot, the managing partner and principal, founded the practice in 2010. In addition to being licensed as an attorney in Florida and Washington, D.C., Mr. Elliot is also licensed in England and Wales. He is a member of Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund and Old Republic. The firm is therefore able to facilitate real estate closings and the issuance of title policies, as well as to serve British clients conducting cross-border transactions. He began his legal career as a public defender in Orange County, learning the ins and outs of Florida’s criminal justice system. In addition to receiving dozens of multi-million dollar awards, he received the largest collectible punitive damage verdict in State history, the largest Ciguatera settlement in the Country, what was reported as the largest Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy verdict in Florida, and the largest personal injury verdict ever in Okeechobee County. He also took on the automobile insurance industry for its practice of under-reimbursing health care providers. Mr. Stewart was the first attorney in many years to defeat GEICO in a Powell type Insurance Bad Faith case.
