As both the son of a volunteer fireman and a victim of fire himself — he saw his childhood home destroyed and his hometown devastated by the Clayton Fire in 2016 — Mr. Huffman is passionate about pursuing justice for his clients. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Huffman was honored with many awards during his military service, including the Expert Infantryman Badge, Combat Lifesaver Certification, and the Army Commendation Medal. He is active in the veteran community, serving as a leader in the nonprofit organization Veteran’s Surf Alliance, which provides community and support to former members of the U.S. military as they return to their families and reintegrate into civilian life. He also is active with Veteran's PATH and Team Rubicon. Mr. Huffman earned his bachelor’s degree in construction management from California State University, Chico, before graduating from Empire College School of Law. He was a recipient of the Vietnam Veterans of California Scholarship.
