About Charles
Charles Rice grew up in Anniston, Alabama and graduated with a BA from the University of Alabama in 1975. Upon Graduation from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1978, he returned to Anniston, where he settled with his wife and two daughters and began his private practice. For 30 years his practice has focused on Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, Social Security / Disability & SSI benefits. He is past president of the Anniston Morning Kiwanis Club and Anniston Morning Rotary Club, and has served on a number of local boards and charities including the United Way, the Salvation Army, Crime Stoppers of Calhoun County, and Habitat for Humanity. He is a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Parker Memorial Baptist Church in Anniston. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, the Calhoun County Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR) and is admitted to practice before the Northern District of Alabama and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Civil Appeals.
