Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I’ve had two clients in the last year tell me I saved their lives. Literally. Each was so appreciative and said they’d tell everyone they know to come see me. That’s what my practice is all about.

How did you build a successful practice?

By being an attorney that my clients want to tell everyone they know about. Referrals are the main source of my practice.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Compassion and empathy. It’s important to know your attorney and staff care about you and your situation and have empathy for what you are going through.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge is usually more important in my cases to build a rapport.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

Comfort to the caller and the details of the process and what we will be seeking to accomplish.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

Just the basics of the situation and a little about you and your family.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

Compassion and empathy to go along with ability. I care about each client and try to put myself on his or her shoes. After helping thousands of people, I have a pretty good idea what each new client is experiencing and I strive to make the process easy and successful.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Seeing positive life changes form my clients. When they tell me how much better off they are after working with me, it’s heartwarming. Thanks to all of my clients, you make the job fabulous.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

Serving God by serving people. I also love sports. I’m a true buckeye. I love the reds and of course THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

Are you involved in your community?

Yes. I love volunteering for my church, Koinos Christian Fellowship in Troy, Ohio. I’ve had the pleasure of coaching many children in sports ranging from soccer to baseball to basketball. I’ve helped at food banks/kitchens for those in need. My passion is serving God by helping others.
